  1. Good lord that is a very fine, I say, very fine funny book! I've lusted after a copy for 35 years but this issue seems to be horded even more than most Timelys. I can't wait to see your UC! (thumbs u
  2. I believe it as it looks like he just added a hat to cover the Japanese gentleman on the balcony.
  3. +1 This kind of book would be my ideal: Stunning looks + minimal restoration = almost affordable price!
  4. Really, really cool! Congratulations!
  5. Very nice book! I sweated bullets trying to figure out how to get one of the ones recently listed on the boards without getting a divorce. Fortunately, others stepped up and saved my marriage! (thumbs u
  6. My first Timely was a Marvel Mystery Comics number 13 that I bought at an El Paso Texas convention ~1989. It was three hole punched and trimmed on one side but it was also only a hundred dollars. I got it CGC graded and sold it a number of years ago. If anybody knows where it resides I'd love to buy it back someday.
  7. Barks original art. Hey you, come off of that cloud. Those are printer proofs. They are comic size in black and white. They're still Barks.
  8. I'm reading Truman by David McCullough. For some reason, I had always considered Harry Truman a place-holder between Roosevelt and Eisenhower. It turns out that he was an amazing man who was the world's linchpin many times through his presidency. Really, really good book! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FC0VVQ/ref=kinw_myk_ro_title
  9. I know I'v never noticed this one before. I really like it though! (thumbs u
