    My 2-book value submission...

    Received - 6/9/17

    Verified - 8/8/17

    Scheduled For Grading - 8/14/17

    Graded - 8/15/17

So based on this, I shouldn't even bother to check my submission for another 2 weeks. I submitted 6 books at the value tier.

Received 6/27/17 and still sitting at received

Mine was from SDCC, and I imagine there are a bunch of books that were "received" on 7/25.  I have never had a FT book take this long to move from "received" to "verified."  They usually move to verified within a few days of being received.

Mine stayed at received for maybe 5 weeks until I called a second time to ask about turnaround times.  Then they went through verified/graded/QC/etc. in a matter of days and were waiting to be shipped about a week after I called.

Thanks. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some results.

Thanks for the reply.  I haven't submitted in about a year and things are bit different.  Kinda weird, I got a call from someone at CGC today saying Fed Ex shipping to my PO BOX address was gonna be more ... so I said eff it and ship it to my apartment which whatever the cheapest method you have is ... was pretty confused.

I have CGC ship to P O Box by USPS. I haven't looked at the price difference but the piece of mind of not having my books sit on my doorstep for someone to steal is what I base my choice on.

Wow, seems Verified to graded is pretty quick.  Hopefully mine will be by the end of this week. :wishluck:

On a side note -anybody have any issues with them shipping to a PO BOX?  Is it the same as shipping to a residential address?

    Thx

I have mine ship to my P O Box all the time with no issues. I prefer my books to be shipped that way so I don't have them waiting on my doorstep until I get home from work.

I haven't seen many Value subs charted here so I'll contribute

Dropped off 10 Value subs at HeroesCon 6/18 (online sub)

    Verified 6/21

Dropped off 10 Modern Slow at HeroesCon for a friend 6/18 (paper sub)

    Received 6/23

I dropped off 6 Value Subs at AwesomeCon on 6/17 and they're still sitting in Received 6/29.

  7. How long does it usually take for comics dropped off at a show to show up on Submission Tracking? I dropped off 6 books for the Value Tier last Saturday at AwesomeCon and the submission is not on there yet. My credit card hasn't even been charged yet.

I'm just curious to how long it takes for them to be in the system as this is the first time I dropped them off at a show. When I ship my books, they get put in the system quickly.

  8. Selling several books on the bay! Ultimate Fallout 4 variant, silver age, 9.8's & more

Selling some books on eBay to start raising funds now for Awesomecon (I wish I can go to Charlotte instead but it's a bit of a ways from me) & Baltimore Comic-Con.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and change the Theme to CGC Boards Beta Tweaks for feedback.  The contrast is much, much better and it won't "hurt your eyes".

That's better but it still kills my eyes. Hopefully The Collector Society will allow us to use the classic version of the boards.
