This is no ordinary yard sale. It's strictly only comic book related, comic magazines, CGC graded books, variant covers etc. There will be a ton of books to go through. A lot of good higher grade books going for less than what you would find in any comic shop back issue bins. There will also be higher priced books available.

If you're in the NJ shore area on August 17th- 18th 9am-6pm stop by and check out our selection and don't forget your checklist!

Thor #2 is not a first appearance at all. As fastball stated God of thunder #25 last page is a Cameo. First appearance is Thor #1. Bonus: Thor #8 is the reveal of Lady Thor as Jane Foster.

God of thunder cameo, Thor #1 she's on the last page 1st appearance or cameo, Thor #2 she's on the cover and is in many pages 1st full appearance. Am I missing something?

  3. These I believe were given to the comic shop retailer to review and display, then dispose of when the actual book came out. It's hard to tell how many still exist. I would think at the time of the issue, print run might depend on how many comic shops existed. I would think one copy per shop. Most of these advance previews were from the 1990's. When I visited the Wizard World Philly show years ago, I asked around about them to almost every comic dealer big and small and I'd say 95% of them look at me like I had two heads (clueless). They had to have them at some point in their shops.
