  3. So how unusual are Marvel Character appearances in DC comics? This is my first Leifeld - met Rob at a comic con earlier this year, nice guy, and realized I didn't have any of his art so snagged this one - then noticed, hey it is a DC book with Peter Parker in it!

  5. I got my ComicLink "Sampler" - fun to flip through They got the page number of the ST 42 I consigned that is in the catalog wrong but glad to see it in there Mark
  6. I am interested in folk's themes - for me, when I get a new piece of art I consider does it fit into one of my themes / gallery rooms? If the answer is yes then I am more likely to post the new acquisition. Some of my themes can be seen below and in my CAF: http://cafurl.com?i=23828 - Rare / Scarce / Beloved Penciller / Inker teams - British artists and writers - Minor 1970s nostalgia titles - "Silly Heroes" (Impossible Man / Tick) - Baseball - First appearances / Origins - Movies / TV Shows - WWII Planes Now that CAF has the by artist listing, organizing your CAF some other way / by themes add some personality to the collection
  7. I'll take the Mystery Tales 19
  8. Hello All, I sold some raw books on the boards quite a few years but recently sold some slabs and was told about the kudos thread so here is mine I am mtlevy on eBay as well so you can see my feedback there but mostly as buyer Thanks! Mark
  9. I found a picture of the published image on the internet, the owner of the published copy says it was a Doubleday ad/flyer and there was a Doubleday book published in 1962 so my guess is 1961 - 1962. If anyone knows for sure that would be cool. The original art is a nice size 8 x 12 - I am looking at it now, have it framed in my home office area.
  10. So quiet - why did all the Marvel Tales sell fast and these are so quiet - all PCH Atlas?

  15. This is the crux of my argument as well - he performed well for a long time but I don't feel he ever had a MVP season - That said, I own 48 pages of his art (only 2 for sale in my gallery). What was his MVP year - now who else was playing that year?
