  1. Here were my 3 Comic Link wins. I'm very happy to win the Air Fighters and Piracy books as I've been outbid on them in the last year or so, and for some reason the Terry Toons cover really appealed to me.
  2. Great book (and bargain) - congrats! Really liked the sketch too!
  3. Nice, nice, and nice! Is this your first Gaines File book?
  4. Wow, no love for my Signature Series Al Feldstein signed Gaines File NM plus graded copies of 2 classic EC comics? I LOVE Gaines file copies. But I guess I was still cringing thinking about the signatures. Cringing about the signature itself, or the thought of the artist possibly butchering the book when he signed it?
  5. I totally understand - I know that some people feel that high grade or pedigreed copies shouldn't be signed. Personally though, I think it's amazing that I can get the cover of a classic issue that's over 50 years old signed by the original artist! And to have a Gaines File copy signed just adds to the appeal for me.

  7. Thanks! Yes, they came back pretty quick didn't they? They were signed about 3 weeks ago, and submitted for express grading.
  8. Just got these Gaines File beauties back from CGC, both signed by Al Feldstein! (thanks Chandler & Desertwind Comics)
  9. Thanks to Chandler, Sharon, & Desertwind Comics for my last submission at the San Diego Comic Convention! I'll post my books on the main thread.
  10. Just got these back from CGC (thanks for Desertwind Comics & Chandler for getting Al's sigs!)
  11. Nice book, and great cover, but how in the h*ll did that get a grade of 4.5? Dirt stains, smudges, creases, and a HUGE rusted staple. Can you imagine a Silver Age or Bronze Age or modern book that looked like that getting a 4.5 grade?
  12. Awesome book and signature! (Now you just need to get it signed by Al Feldstein too!)
