I know a lot of 0.5 grade collectors of key book, just to own the originals where higher grades are not affordable.

For their body of work and impact on the industry, as opposed to simply aesthetics or scope of their portfolio, I would carve out: Jack Kirby - creator of many Marvel heroes Steve Ditko - creator of Spider-Man; Dr. Strange and others Bob Kane - creator of Batman Joe Shuster - creator of Superman For a later era enshrinement, I'd appoint: Frank Miller Neal Adams John Byrne George Perez ...and as for current working modern artists: I'm not sure who would truly qualify to the higher standards, possibly Jim Lee and Todd McFarlane Hard to justify, but still not out of the question to mention Michael Turner, Marc Silvestri, J. Scott Campbell, Adam Hughes and a few other names - but those draw really petty pictures, but lack that game changing "substance" of working on memorable material more so than nice covers, splash pages and pin-ups of often times marginal characters or paired with uninspired writers.

You know there's an email on the contact info tab to send an email, that's probably the first and best way to figure it out. If your msg falls to deaf ears maybe the person is deceased or no longer managing the site and all deals are off the table. The other way is to maybe ask if anyone has dealt with them who is in contact still either as a customer or simply as a peer fan/collector and figure out if anything is for sale that way.

I've had winning bidders ask me to "Cancel" an order and explain how I get credited fees by eBay, but truth be told, that I also think it alleviates the buyer from any blame in the transaction and doesn't demerit them for their non-payment as if it were a mutually agreed upon cancellation or possibly even prompted by the seller, as a possible means to circumvent fees and do a deal outside of eBay. I prefer the good 'ol non-paying bidder's alert, notifying eBay of that fact. I then put the bidder on my blocked list. Then right before putting the "request final value" - since eBay in their infinite wisdom, won't allow negative feedback to buyers, put positive feedback that states the fact such as "Sorry, I could not cancel your winning bid as you had requested, if you decide you want to pay for your purchase, let me know."
