Just started collecting Mattina a few months ago haven't been able to get this one yet. -
Yea no guarantee just double signed on the back of the book with a special space created for the sigs. Hopefully most come back 9.8

I ordered the Virgin CGC SS series. There is so many exclusives coming out now it's hard to keep track of them all. I don't even know what I have coming anymore
-
I think it's awesome that for every copy you buy five copies of the regular cover will go to care packages for troops overseas.

Wow! Amazing piece

Diamond just released the cover art for the 1:25 Dell otto Spider-Men II #2. Awesome cover I will have to add to my collection
-
This is just shady as all get out. Signed on March 5 and already graded and for sale before most collectors and stores have even received their boxes. I thought all 500 were supposed to be in the boxes?

The polybags are exactly why I did not even try to preorder. I ordered a store variant set that unfortunately came polybagged and the condition left a lot to be desired. It's the same reason why I am passing on getting any of the SDCC variants from DC because they are all going to be polybagged. I wonder how many times this has to happen before companies realize condition matters when it comes to collectibles?

My goodness those are freaking gorgeous!
-
I wondered that as well. There was also the X-23 Sketch cover that sold a couple of weeks ago as well. Pretty awesome stuff
-
Well that's going to really haunt me now forever. Wish I would've taken a closer look and just put it on my credit card lol. Oh well.

Is the Dell Otto ASM 667 variant his most rare to collect? I never see it come up for sale on eBay. My LCS got one in a month or so ago and it sold in two days. I didn't ask what he was selling it for because I didn't have the cash to get it at the time

The official J Scott Campbell Appreciation/Discussion Thread

And the print runs keep getting bigger. Cover A 3,450. Cover B 3,050. Cover C 1,700. These are not really that exclusive anymore. The con exclusive will probably have a print run of at least 1,000 maybe even 1,500. $110 for a set seems insane. If you're raising the print runs then the price should come down. -
Wow those are gorgeous! Maybe DC will put them on variants at some point
-
I had to get that one and the Logan & Laura one and added on a Civil War & Guardians as well. These Lithographs just look fantastic. Maybe eventually a Superman/BATMAN will be offered. Dell Otto is a master
-
Unknown Comics presale 15 more SDCC four pack sets last night before SDCC. At SDCC they are limiting it to 150 sets per day. I think these actually have some potential. Maybe I'm wrong but I really like these. Yes I realize there are a ton of Edge of Venomverse variants

They did this for the Harley Quinn Dell Otto last year as well. Love it when they offer the virgin separately. I'm very tempted to get the SS series as it would be fantastic

Thanks for posting this! Ordered a signed and graded set today. Cover is going to be awesome!!

I went to Marvel Unlimited a couple of months ago and I love it. $5.50 a month and I have access to almost the entire history plus modern books only six months behind. I just couldn't justify paying $4-5 per issue anymore. I've been reading DC Rebirth through the trades the double shipping is just too expensive and time consuming to keep up. I agree with the indie publishers especially Image putting out high quality products that cover every genre possible. I'm much more willing to support a creator owned project with my dollars than something from the big 2. Even the five dollar indie books like the new Royal City from Image you get 52 pages with no ads. The typical Marvel/DC book you get about 23 pages of content for $4 Marvel or $3 DC. Marvel and DC will always dominate the sales charts but I think it's important for Image and the other indie publishers to have a place in the comic world

Moderns that are heating up on ebay!
Michael Lamm replied to thirdgreenham's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
Issue 1: 32,000 issue 2: 28,000 Issue 3: 27,000 Issue 4: 27,000 Volume 1: Topped the list for trade sales in February. Long term this book has a bright future I like the four issue story arc and then release a trade and then start back up model. Openas art is breathtaking and is really pushing this book forward. Obviously it will be interesting to see the sales for the second arc and in particular issue five to see if people add it to their pull after checking out the trade -

Issue Four sold 25K and the first volume topped the February trade sales. Tons of good buzz for this series as the second arc starts up in April. Issue 1 cover A still selling at $60-70 raw.
