  1. So....I sent my submission to CGC Fast Track Modern - 18 books on January 25th. It was delivered on February 2nd to CGC as per USPS tracking. It was received by CGC on Feb 18th. It moved to grading/quality control on Feb 25th and then was marked as shipped this morning March 2nd. WTF!!??? Literally 6 weeks.
  2. So how long do comics sit in grading/quality control usually? I've seen people post 2 weeks up to infinity and beyond......is there hope when it gets to that point?
  3. Hey ZZ, if you don't want to post a grade, them move on. Please don't patronize me.
  4. Sell raw or get it cleaned and pressed and submit? Any opinions on grade would be appreciated.
  5. So, you said don't buy them for value. But then you say the valuable stuff was a fluke. So, there is value? But you just have to get lucky to get the valuable books? Sounds about right. Which is why people buy them. There can be some value in those 3 packs and I was curious if anyone besides me saw the new packs and if there were some that had variants etc.
  6. Just walked through the local Walmart and saw the Marvel box was refilled with new packs. Anyone else see this? I bought one of each - 6 total - nothing valuable - at all.
  7. Yeah...I had a 9.8 and sold it a few months ago on eBay. Anything that you pay $4 for in 1986 and then get pressed and graded in 2018 for $30 and then sell it for $3500 is a good day. I'm an old veteran collector from the '80's and all the multi copy stuff(10 or more) that I bought at Comic World in Winnipeg has been going up like crazy. Just wish pressers weren't so busy so I could get more than 25 done every 6-8 months. I know I can...but my wife just doesn't realize there's gold in dem der long white boxes. HA!!!!
