  1. With how popular this book is, and will continue to be. I have a high grade copy that I've had for 30 years, maybe paid 100 or less. I bought another 181 with the mark jewelers insert 4.0 cgc paid 2300. I've seen thousands of 181's on eBay, only 3 with the insert. I'm hoping that years from now that they get like the 35 cent Star Wars 1, been buying all the keys that I can find with the insert in hopes of rarity and increasing demand, but the 181 will be the one to get
  2. I think years to come, people are going to realize how rare they are, because they were sold on military bases only, military people have to move more than the average person. Moving a lot, means more of your stuff gets thrown away. I've seen a 1000+++ of hulk 181's on eBay, I've only seen 3 with the mark jewelers insert for sale. I know there's more of them out there, think people are just holding on to them. I do pay more for the variant, trying to pick up all the keys with it. The hulk 181 might parallel the 35 cent Star Wars 1 one day
  3. I had the first known copy of it, bought it in 1987, the cover was split, so I had Susan cicconi work on it when I met her at San Diego comic con, she brought that to my attention, so we asked Gary Carter about it, he's never seen it before. He had me take a photo copy of it and send it to him, he put it in his magazine comic book market place 19 ( I think). I ended up trading it for an 8.5 tales of suspense 39, spiderman1-42, and fantastic 4 1-44. I had 800 in the batman 2
  4. I'm getting back into comics, been out for 20 years. I bought a collection of books is the early 80's, with them there is a sketch of batman, of robin and bob Kane sitting in the 1966 bat mobile, all 3 signed by bob Kane. Also a famous first edition signed by Joe shuster, I was hoping to get some feedback on the values of them, thanks for the help, I'm new to the forum, need help on getting pics posted too
