  1. Since when has that become hot / un vougue: chasing iconic artists first book or early work?
  2. Are we goin GA only? if not, id be tempted to throw this one up in the air: what is Rich Corbens masterpiece? my 2cent: Beast of Wolfton👍Or perhaps Bloodstar …
  3. I just might reread my Perez JLA/Avengers 4 ish mini tonight.
  4. Thoughts and prayers to his family. God Speed maestro … RIP.
  5. A master craftsman. A great innovator. May he rest in peace.
  6. Since Distinctions like that (minor/small) could potentially cause 10.000s FMV price drop on a given book,- shouldnt terminology like what you are suggesting be reflected in the cgc resto scale criteria? it seems peculiarly inconsistent, that we are left to guess about these matters...😟
  7. Regarding this Adventure 40, i just thought that we agreed above, that it has been 20+ years cgc policy, to allow minor CT on GA books? so why is this book purple?
  8. Yes, GA books with CT are evaluated differently by cgc than CT books from later eras. That policy is highly irregular. Due to this inconsistency cgc is not treating books on equal footing.
  9. One might want to take advantage of this, before cgc eventually will be called out by public opinion to correct this blatantly irrational policy - putting a supe 1 in a blue holder but the @exact same@ condition AF15 in a restored holder.
  10. I guess that procentage makes you a plod-man (just like me😜)
  11. Its a ret-conned PLOD ... (retro-active enhancement 👍)
  12. A similar grade silver age key with the same CT as the Church Supe 1 would go straight into a purple restored holder (and would accordingly suffer a 90-95% loss of its identical blue label market value👍). Crazy but true ...
  13. I cant really disagree with any of that 👍 edit: Bat 1 juuust might come in at the #4 tier. Thats a toss up imho.
  14. Also Kamandi seems to be a completely manic tour de force of ideas and concepts pouring out in the usual Kirby Gonzo style. Love it!
  15. I really, really like all the fourth world books by Kirby. I think his work during the 1970ies is the stuff I ressonate the most with today.
  16. Yup, thats a purple label slab, due to pieces added.
