Fantastic find!

So I bought it and went back to my apartment to browse through it (late 80s). I had been collecting comics to do something with my brothers, but I wasn't into it all that much. This price guide opened up a whole new venue for me in several ways. First, the amount of American paperbacks available was huge. There was a list of paperback dealers to contact. And, through a few pictures, my first exposure to Heade and British paperbacks in general.

This is the third series reprint, Broads Don't Scare Easy. The Frances copies were all silvered over, along with most of the 3rd series, because they were consider too risque. But a small number of copies of the book did get released from the reprint company as is.

Contemporary, and in one case, extremely important.

Here are both the S.D. Frances original (right) and the R.P. Ltd reprint(left). You can see the lower quality of the reprint is much lower with the same art. In hand, the paper quality is of a much lower quality.

I read the heck out of those back when I was a kid visiting my Grandmother.
