-
nice update thanks
-
total bids for magic dirt on just those 100 pagers was above $3400....he hadn't bought anything since 2/05 (one item) .
-
i thought i had that one. I was the runner up bidder at $999. Icefires, You think magic dirt was a shill
-
good try on that #15.....I just happened on it with 38 seconds left...
-
Actually, I don't mind seeing and paying high prices for these books......
1. GPA follows these auctions
2. If people see these books going for a premium, they might consider bringing out their stash of comics to get graded
3. As long as interest holds, the price will continue to climb
4. As the price climbs, more people will be interested...
5.see number 3
6 see number 4

I don't own that batman 261. I sold it to ron with my collection. I would like it back though.....
-
I didn't look at the seller. You're right.
-
must be shilling involved, but how can you tell anymore?
-
Yeah I've been eyeing them, just got some tax money, so I bought two of the 9.8's.....Small discount, but not much.....Hopefully, they'll be here in a few days...
-
I gave up trying to catch you, oh, about 5 years ago.
I can still shoot for #2 though.
I would like to see your books in the registry......
-
Just like you, I havn't been able to find any. I have a few raw ones that I'm going to submit.
They just aren't out there right now.
-
ok i'll bite, how many books do you know of that have paratroopers on them? Why do you collect them?

the tag on the car is cool
-
That's a nice cgc set sterling...
-
those comics are nice beyonder, Iwish I had a LCS with that kind of stuff in it.
-
Picked up a batman 244, my goal of batman 150 - 300 cgc is in sight.....Now that I have fewer holes in the run, it's getting harder to find them.....that batman 238 is going to be the hardest.

This week two raw bronze batman comics from metro. Sadly, one was damaged during shipping (batman #290). This comic has been hard for me to find, and I was really bummed to find it damaged.
-
got a couple of slabs for my registry this week. batman #228 in 9.6 off ebay and a batman #236 in 9.6. I actually traded a duplicate of mine for that one, long distance ( az to IN), and the guy was very honest. nice in this day and age.
-
just got a batman 227 9.4 and a 228 in 9.6....lost out on another auction. Bidding against colmore comics. I hate bidding against them.
-
oh great....worst news....I got the comic-keys batman #200 back and no suprise, it had trimming and color touch. I bought this comic a year and a half ago, just didn't want to send it in, now what any ideas?
-
Wow big week for me. I finally got my last batch of silver and bronze age batman's back from cgc. I sent the silver's econo in dec. ( 2004) and the bronze's in feb. They came back on the same day. Bad news: two broken slabs. good news: many 9.4 and above. Best news: My first pedigree comic bought from metropolis Batman 196 ( Oakland) came back 9.6 just as they sold it to me.
-
woohoo, finally got a batman 232 cgc 9.6 ( just can't afford a 9.8). trying to complete a neal adams collection in 9.6 this could be very difficult.
DC 100 pagers
in Bronze Age Comic Books
Posted
That is exactly why 100 pagers are hard to get in high grade.....All the completionists want to find them for their bronze age runs, in whatever title they are collecting...
