I believe people are gonna kick themselves for not buying lower now once April rolls around.....smart buyers are in now
-
When spending that kind of money people are picky
-
All the record setters were very clean with maybe one spider crease which didn’t detract from eye appeal
-
The 5.5 was nice but spider creases on bottom and top must have played a part for lower price....no chipping is nice but spider crease were prevelant
-
And there has been two very nice clean 6.5 up for auction I just don’t get it
-
Anybody care to give me a reason why?
-
Still don’t get it 7.0 doubles so does 5.0 and 5.5 but 6.0 and 6.5 barely move wtf ??
-
5.0 on eBay didn’t break 50k tis the season .....not time to sell gotta wait 6 months
-
It is a logical move to gauge market I agree
-
Anyone with half a brain would resubmit and get a higher grade to make more money
-
If it was really an upgrade he would’ve done it himself

That's why I see Mickey Mantle rookie cards being a bad bet long-term. If Elvis is starting to fade than Mantle cards will be in deep doo-doo in the future.
At least with Elvis you can hear his songs still played on You-Tube and Spotify. Who other than baby boomers are going to have nostalgia memories for Mickey Mantle?
Which brings us back to AF#15 and Spider-Man being a great future bet as Spider-Man keeps reinventing himself with new movies and videogames introducing him to new audiences, unlike Mickey Mantle.
Was looking at Amazon best selling categories this week and these made the top of the lists.
No Mickey Mantle stuff at the top of the charts.
My bet is AF#15 will continue to be desired as a top collectible, while others fade.
I hope your right about the mantle I want one so bad but waiting for the pull back

ummmm Bob did u sell that af 15 5.0 for 75k???? bob.....bob.....or was it pulled.....let us know
-
-
Wow steal
-
With no chipping of course and pq still matters....ow/w higher premium
-
And I don’t agree with price point either......5.0 sold for I think 57k this year that’s more than double and lower grades in some cases have more than doubled.....price point is close but too low.....if the 6.5 only does in the 80s it’s a steal....the 7.0s are pricing many people out and I mean most......4.0-6.0 I believe will be the heavy hitters in the next two years.....just my opinion
-
I diagree respectfully,.....if spidey was wasting away with fox still this book would not be doing what it is....I know it’s the grail.....the ONE....but now in marvel universe makes the difference to me and many others
-
I feel same way with ff and silver surfer....there days are coming soon I believe and watch out for hulk 181....if wolverine is even mentioned in an actual movie made by marvel it will double in my opinion it’s not a stale book by any means but way over due for a big bump.....that’s the new grail for those out of the af15 race
-
I feel for the little guy.....I was there once but me and others did see this coming....marvel starts making spidey movies this moves big and here we are got to have foresight and yeah $
-
? very true but he’s not the only one who see the investment opportunities
-
I think book hits or breaks 100 if it had better pq even higher.....almost all grades across the board have doubled or better this shouldn’t be different

The 6.5 is ending tonight will be very interesting to see where it lands.......it’s really nice
