The 6 (blue cover) does have a tear at spine edge in between staples about 2" long. Otherwise just small defects noticeable in pictures on the others..

Good afternoon: I recently acquired a golden age comic book ( Spook Mystery 26 ) and found there to be 2 sets of staples. I have seen this in other comics and am aware of why this can happen with older comics. The difference with this one is that both sets of staples are not aligned on the spine. One set is on the spine itself however the 2nd set are near the spine but not on it ( similar to a Giant size x-men 1 staple location). After close inspection, the staples appear to be original in both locations. My question is, will this extra set of staples in the location cause this comic to be considered qualified? Thank you for any help you might provide.

($199). off white pages. Excellent eye appeal. Flat and clean cover. Couple small stress lines etc.. Some minor wear to upper spine corner area. I would say is a low Fine condition. Ace comics 12. ($500) 2nd phantom, 1938. good eye appeal. I don't know the history (I have owned it for about 25 years) There looks to have been some restoration to it in the form of some glue to top staple area at cover. The top staple has more shine to it than the bottom, (noticeable at center) so that was likely replaced. I don't see any other work done. No color touches or anything else I can see. Pages are off white to cream. Interior is complete with no missing pages. Small tear at top of cover vertical, about 1.5 inches down. Book is clean and flat in hand. Never been pressed. I am winging the price here. I don't know of any other sales, just a 1.8 unrestored with an asking price over $1500 currently on Ebay. Werewolf By night 33 UNRESTORED. ($60) complete and connected. Never pressed. Front cover is clean and glossy with good eye appeal.The back cover is smooth and clean to the touch but has some "dirtiness" staining to it. Off white pages. I would grade this at a high VG. Front appearance is easily 5+ I haven't posted any books here for sale for a few years. I had this post removed the other day due to forgetting the small incidentals up top (returns payments etc..) . Hopefully is all corrected now.
