  1. Well, not sure what "gaurantee" that there needs to be, these are not unlicensed replicas or fakes, that are oddball cards and you can label them as such. You are only grading 4 things, corners, edges, surface & centering. Those can be done with ANY card that will fit in your cases. If I got an art card signed through one of your witnessed signings, you telling me you wouldn't slab it? All you need is the info on the card, and in my case, I did all the research for you. Bottom line, CGC needs to expand their market to ALL cards. If you find them to be fake, THEN kick them back.
  2. I have a Chinese basketball card and a limited basketball art card that I have submitted (see card examples from the sets I submitted, both Reggie Miller), but was told different things on whether if they could be graded or not. They are currently "PENDING Ineligible Type". One rep told me all cards have to be "Officially Licensed" but another rep told me if I provided all of the required information about the card (year, card number, manufacture, card series and player) that CGC should be able to verify that info and grade the card. After all, if I want them to tell me the surface area, corners, edges and centering of a piece of cardboard that fits into a holder they should. I get if the are "fakes" or unauthorized reproductions of licensed cards, but CGC shouldn't exclude foreign or oddball / independent cards as long as they are labelled as such, right?
  3. Is the Ross variant a mexican reprint of AF15 or ASM1?
  4. I hope this signing happens soon as my Michael Keaton sig books are being held up. Hope all is well and there isn't issues behind the scenes. CGC, PLEASE be sure to send out updates of any kind about delays like this. Thank you.
  5. Phil, in the same boat. My book was received on Oct 12th, but still not in the system. CGC has been great updating me and assuring that me book is there, accounted for and should be good as it was logged in as being received before the cut-off date, though that do have leniency when it comes to the cut-off dates. It does worry me that the article is still up but doesn't come up under current or past signing events. One can only find it if they have the direct link or in a previous email. Hope for all of us this signing goes well!
  6. Thanks for the link! Much appreciated. That person also asked about pressing with the transfer included and didn't get an answer, so hopefully me commenting will bump it to get one. "I too would like to know how an iron-on transfer could be included if you plan to have the book pressed without then transfer also being pressed, which would ruin the transfer and book, or them not being separated and lost. I have a #1 and 2 #2s in for pressing and grading now, but do not have the transfers to worry about this, but would like to know if I ever get those transfers to add. I do have the stickers for #3 but still need the MWOM #3 book."

  8. Does anyone know if issues #1, #2 or #3 of the Mighty World of Marvel (UK) were to be sent in for grading would get a universal grade or qualified grade without the iron-ons for #1 & #2 or the stickers for #3? I don't think they were attached to the mag/newspaper itself like say the tattooz are in ASM #238, so they wouldn't be considered incomplete, correct? There are so few graded, so any insight would be appreciated, thanks.
