    Pretty sure that would get Purple (Restored) they use to state on label (Staples Replaced) although now I believe they changed that where it no longer says it on the label, but may/may not state it in the graders notes.

    Actually I believe they updated their policy on this. If you use period correct staples and no other work has been done ( not added pages, married cover , etc ) then it could get a Conserved label.

    If they do maybe they will tell us how much it costs to get 10's and 9.9's. Then again those who are able to pay for the grade probably also have to sign an NDA with CGC for the ability to get the Pay for Grade service.

    Think that it was mentioned that someone reported it and that was why it was removed. So all it will take is enough people reporting each listing of these that pop up and ebay will remove them.

    Yes. It was CGC'S claim that Clayton Crain who did the cover for that Ultimate Fallout reprint also did the Acetate Cover Overlay, which is why they said they allowed it to be attached and considered it to be acceptable as a Blue Label Universal grade.
