  1. Let me know if you manage to find some of these. The local Books a Million didn't order enough to get any of the B&W (sketch) copies.
  2. Unfortunately, it seems, this has become more and more of their modus operandi. Invisible Comics = Pay for Grades. Removed Label Notations = We asked several " upstanding members of the community " Custom Labels = Exploit for Restored books to Blue Label (Possibly TWICE [Dylan, now this]) Newton Rings = Completely normal and acceptable to a degree as that is the materials vs our "superior optics" On the new cases. First in First out = well it depends on who your books were assigned to in que. I am sure there are more , but these just come to mind immediately as these have all been exposed on the boards and later revised by CGC. A couple others that come to mind , but have yet to have evidence and be outed are The revision of the Signature Series program , where they used to have some "Authorized Dealers " who were allowed to work on these books , but no longer allow that. (Sounds like it was compromised and when they found out they removed anyone "not in house" to better hide it) 3 graders assess each book and they come to a consensus to determine your final grade, but several times it has been said that is no longer the case . However none of us really know as these are internal processes and considering how some of the books (over and under graded look) this is clearly not the case anymore. Written off as "grading is subjective " It seems as though it has just become a game of revision and CYA after the fact.
  3. As I was catching up on the last couple pages since I was here earlier, I hit this post . the absurd and perfectly accurate gif came up as I was mid sip of my drink. Well I started to laugh which half choke and it comes back up my nose. I'm still chuckling and half in tears.
  4. Most definitely NOT, as the Promise pedigree books were higher dollar value GA books, especially with the first batch all hitting 5 and 6-figures, as opposed to lower dollar value MA books. That combined with the fact that they sent them from CGC to the auction house and both CGC and the auction house both ran massive ad campaigns. I am sure in addition to their fees just to grade they both were able to use those books to generate a nice pile of cash. So many wondered why their books got kicked back in line as these rolled through. Same reason why fast track moves quick that regular. It's all about the $$$ they make.
  5. You are also allowed to disagree quietly. You don't have to be loud. (That was a joke. I'll show myself out.)
  6. This part is definitely disturbing. Considering that I have had some books take them over a year to grade and send back. It should be clarified as once grading has been completed and is ready for shipment. Not from submission. There were times it took them more than a month to open the package from time of submission.
