  1. These overlays had an issue where they sometimes would bubble or lift . Although yours does appear a little different. Could you get better close ups of that specific area? Regardless of them being sealed a lot got damaged in the process as well as a TON of them having spine issues similar to yours with the NCB bend just left of Supermans cape. Which can be pressed out by a professional although if the overlay has any bubbles or is releasing then pressing would definitely not be recommend as it can cause more damage.
  2. Congratulations! Ash knocking it out of the park again! Really love the Fear and Loathing..
  3. Add in hype of each day a new book! Slowly building up the suspense all while documenting condition, contents. Done right and on a good collection I am sure it would generate a lot of lookers, some subscriber and a lot of talk. Just setting up a website instead of using something like OnlyFans and doing this could potentially draw in a decent amount of revenue just from ad space through views. Especially if promoted through social media. All building up to the eventual sale. Even document that on the site to continue to draw views / income.
  4. They would probably market it as a way to fully inspect and document book as well as count pages / wraps. Making sure to comment on each flaw they notice. The suppleness of the paper. The aromatic scents breathing off of it. Considering there are already things like factional shares and they have sexualized almost every aspect of it, is it really that far of a stretch to think someone would pay for you to tell them how dirty (or clean) your books are? Add in this would be on a huge collection that some of the prospective buyers may actually want to see the books they will be bidding/ buying . Well now a joke seems like it has potential to generate more income for those who already appear are trying to extract every penny.
  5. Nope. Both have a HUGE criminal history since. Charges ranging from burglary, criminal mischief, trespassing, theft, shoplifting, meth possession, paraphernalia, assault, child endangerment. The list goes on. It's not exactly cheap, but still not too expensive if they were manufacturing it. [My thought is that it may have been intentional, but more than likely was not. Someone (Minimum Wage / Menial Job ) worker who was probably selling on the side to try to compensate for lack of skill / pay may have misplaced/ dropped their stash into one of the pans/dishes of food and it got mixed in and served. ] I don't trust most of the food places around here. About a couple of years ago Wendy's shut down and completely remodeled after one of their employees posted videos of them taking a bath in their big sink. Back in the 90's a Checkers opened and closed within two months. One of the employees was caught peeing in the deep fryer. (He admitted to doing it frequently) If I am going out to eat here I travel over to Pensacola or head out to the beach. Even most food items bought at the store get a wipe down / cleaning of the package by me before I put them up in the pantry/fridge.
  6. I am sure like everything in this market there has been decline, but that is just it. Most things today cost more and are worth less. Just the same costs keep increasing so there are those that still think that they would rather spend $50 today than $60+ next year. They are still betting it will continue to rise. (Both cost and value)
  7. They are probably pretty happy with it considering they have raised prices (again) even this time (like last) has caused another mass pile of submissions. They have a HUGE line up of in house signings and they have expanded cards and added VHS. Oh and let's not forget they also decided not to take a BUNCH of their own mistakes back on their dime!
