    The Adventures of Superman #500 Platinum Error has only 22 total on the census. 6 are in 9.8 I just got 2 of those back from CGC this week.

    The last one is the one I have been actually after. It is the only Todd McFarlane Superman Cover. That art was originally done for the Superman Special #1 but was featured as one of the internal pages.

    Not a dumb question. Yes that is why most of the census is green label. There are several books like this that were only produced this way and CGC almost always puts them with green labels . Superman Wedding RRP would be another example the 250 of those were all signed and numbered when they were produced. however just like the above book there are times where one just gets the blue label...

    I agree it definitely will be a challenge. He isn't offering change either. Think his current bounty is up to $1,200 for the 9.8 I know my copies just weren't quite there either one was a 9.2 and took a gamble on pressing and it got downgraded to a 9.0 somewhere it took corner damage that now breaks color. The other graded copy I have is a 9.6 but I do believe it is already as high as it would go. ( Shrink wrap employees pun intended. )

    Yes and they didn't note that it had the numbers on the back. This one being a printer's proof # PP 12/50. I would like it to have the notation, but really like this in the blue label.
