It wasn't a run only a single book. It went the entire time for auction. I bid within an hour of it listed. ( for close to actual guide) no one else bid. I won it for 99 cent + shipping. Then I paid shortly after it ended. The next day zillaf4 cancelled and sent me the messages above. It was obvious he just didn't want to sell it for $0.99 plus $4.50 shipping.
If he hadn't been tried to brush off his dissatisfaction with the sold price by using the " I made a mistake in the listing " and just been honest. I would have understood and made him a more fair offer, as I did bid more on it; and I expected to pay more.
Sad part was I was considering more of their books. Instead you see the way the conversation went and I definitely will not be spending any money with them.
I am sure it is no skin off their back, but the kind of jackwagon messages they replied with are not acceptable. Same with ebay allowing sellers to pull this kind of carp with no repercussions.
Yes ebay can be all over the place with Negative Feedback removal. Larger sellers do get more leeway. It also has to do with how it is worded and if you sent messages specifically about it with a threatening tone. (Feedback extortion) Which is definitely not allowed and will guarantee it will be removed.
All the more reason I have been making more purchases from other sites, LCS, and here over ebay.
