  1. Since it was buried back on page 1 and this thread has now been bumped it is time to bring back the list.
  2. Which may be true, but ultimately very "silly" (unless you are one of the lucky sellers) That's the Royal "you" btw . . . Sounds a lot like this one.
  3. I’m from the future, and I’m here to tell you that you’re absolutely correct.
  4. I didn't object to any of the Knightfall. If that comes to fruition I would be happy to empty a few boxes out if that happens. It was the specific section that I quoted that I said my prediction is that would be false.
  5. Considering what is going on with the Promised Pedigree. My prediction is this statement turns out to be false.
  6. Their fee structure with PayPal I do not know, but would assume it is less than us average Joes.(Plus if they were not making more they wouldn't have implemented it fully/ also probably why they did a soft rollout to analyze how feasible it would be) This coupled with their restructuring of fees is why I said they would increase their take. (Example: They used to cap their fees on items in collectibles at $750. Not anymore.) That is just one of the many changes in the managed payments rollout.
  7. As others have mentioned. This move is so that Ebay can take the cut from selling that PayPal used to get for payment processing. The reason they still allow it as a payment method for buying is not to limit the buyers. All just ways for Ebay to increase the take on their end.
  8. I will say I looked into have Alex Ross do some work. Even if you could get him to do a sketch cover( which he does) , I would say you are probably looking into $5k + . Which for that money you would be better off looking at the stuff he already has done and just picking one from his art site. Sketches stating around $2k and up from there . Full paintings are starting around $10k. https://www.alexrossart.com/Sketch_c_31.html If you are serious about getting a special one done just for you and those prices didn't immediately floor you then your best bet would be as others have said try contacting through social media. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the contact through the Art website contact. Although for CGC SS you would either have to get him to agree to creator agreement form and direct submission or a facilitator. That said this would also be a very long process. Especially submitting to CGC . This all said another option is to have an artist you like their style but not as famous do the sketch through a facilitator and then have it signed by the specific creators, artists, actors, etc.
  9. As Kirk said yes it is the stickered and the non stickered is harder to find. Same with the Superman #104. Although the MOS #42 is definitely a lot harder to find than the SUP #104. I currently only have one of each of the #42. That was the first stickered one I have managed to find for it. The #104 I had 4 of the stickered and only 1 non.. Even currently on ebay there are/have been about 7-8+ of the stickered. Only 1 non stickered of the #104
  10. This is also starting to have me wonder what they will do about the membership credit. You send your books off for grading and if their delays push you past renewal the credit expires, but the delay is their fault. Especially if you send them for pressing first.
  11. I know CGC can slam staining and with the two big lines that break color on the front I am thinking probably in the 4.5 range .
  12. A lot of people do dismiss DC, but there are several, myself included, who do collect them. DC did have some garbage data as did Marvel, but the did run newsstand until 2017. Here is the list of projected last newsstand issues vs actual confirmed last newsstand issues. And I do know several of these titles can be confirmed by someone who collected every newsstand issue in the titles he collected. @Cpt Kirk
  13. That's being generous. I am sure more than two people would have had a chance to catch these issues. Seems not as many take pride in not only their work, but the company they represent. Even if the person in shipping noticed the issue it should have been brought up. Just my
  14. And why do those charts stop at 2013? DC still had Newsstand until August of 2017.. Or are we just dismissing those 4 years ?
