  1. Pretty sure I played through both paths. I have played through so many games sometimes it is hard to keep track. It is almost like a new game when you put it away for a while. With the exception of once you get so far in it starts to all come back. Still always find some hidden things each time.
  2. I did and thought they were alright. May have to play through them again.
  3. Actually this would make a third, but I can not make promises about becoming infamous. I can be relatively sure I will not become famous though.
  4. That's ok. I was going through some of the old threads (18-20 years ago) and found plenty of Greggy's early years where he was way more active. Even garnered a response other than That's what she said. Although he did give one of those as well.
  5. Lunch did sell on ebay as well.. A grilled cheese sandwich with the face of Virgin Mary Sold for a staggering $28,000 in 2004, the grilled cheese sandwich is said to have magical powers and was left untouched by mold for more than a decade, according to the woman who made it.
  6. I have also shared in a few different threads how I package to cut the cost as much as possible , but earlier I posted a semi quick summation of them here.
  7. We have all witnessed it many many times . This is one of the reasons their cost keeps going up and they are still losing money. That said it is even rarer than them catching media mail issues as unlike media they are not supposed to open priority, but if they catch it they would charge you the flat rate for each of the boxes, envelopes, etc used and technically could fine you on top of that although I have never seen or heard of anyone being fined, but have seen a few cases where they did charge for the each of the boxes.
  8. For one of the lowest cost (outside of gathering free second hand materials ) That I use on the cheapest books( but also use as the beginning to really protect all of my shipping up to full long boxes)is foamboard. Even if you get it at the local dollar general it is $1 a sheet and you can do 3-4 modern sized comics. It ends up being one of the cheapest, lightest, strongest material. Here is a really quick run down /example of an oversized thicker book. in this example I use painter's tape but you can substitute it for cheaper tape. I also use ebay branded as I have piles of it built up from when I was selling a ton on ebay again you can use any packing tape ( even water activated for registered more expensive items also for making boxes<how I make boxes to hold/ship long boxes>) Measure size of book and mark at least 1/4" larger on all sides. When I cut it out I make sure to leave a seam that folds as apposed to taping all sides. again measure or trace width of the book and foam board sandwich to cut strips. use those strips to reinforce all sides/edges/corners. then use packing tape to secure all of that ( I usuallyplace two strips at edges then fold down onto the face and back to each edge is at minimum double layered. just this if you are shipping say a 99 cent book or reader copy. It is a lot stronger that you would think and here is its weight. that said this is really being as cheap as possible. When I ship anything worth something this is only the sandwich that then gets a layer of bubble wrap and into a Gemini. More expensive . The Gemini gets bubble wrapped and goes into a priority flat rate or I make another box similar to the method above and use the registered tape. This works for any size package as you make your own. I have used this 3000+ times in the last 10 years. Here is a quick photo shot of long box ( only images not shown is that the long box uses two lids one top and bottom as well as a layer of foam board to fill in between those lids. ) Also note on heavy packages I use the reinforced water activated tape ( registered tape)
  9. Well that one you may want to be careful with.. "This packaging is the property of the United States Postal Service and is provided solely for use in sending Priority Mail shipments. Misuse may be a violation of federal law. This packaging is not for resale."
  10. I bumped this almost 2 decade old thread as that is something that has been said time and time again.
  11. I would think those are a fair estimate based on the sales I have tracked. That said when they are sent to auction with no reserve all bets are off and could set a new record ( high or low) the one I posted above was just the most recent sale for the MOS 2nd print that had just ended on ebay right before my post and with it not containing DCU or DC Universe Logo anywhere in the title it did not garner the visibly it would have to some of those interested. This combined with the fact that when you really look at the image ( only front shown) and if you are familiar with grading this one would have been lucky to get a 9.0 in my opinion based on what I saw from the front cover.
  12. Or they thought that is how you get a yellow label..
  13. As far as I am concerned they have been fair with me. Even this last one was just a PM not actual points. Although I do have a few of those built up, which is why I did appreciate the PM instead of just slapping me with more points and possibly a vacation. Also why this week I have cut way back. That said I will just try to be more careful of how many and where I use them as well as being sure that they are as on topic as possible.
