  1. That Strange Tales Annual #2 is very nice. HTF in decent grade. Congrats
  2. Nice books. That chick gets herself into a LOT of bad situations...
  3. Thanks guys. I have both #1 and #2 I will put them up for sale together. I will also close this thread and open another with the same name, so that searching for books will be easier. Instead of having to wade through my stupid questions.....
  4. Going through what books to put up and found this. Never heard of or seen it before. Can't find it in OS either....Help??
  5. I'm going through a box that I re-discoverd. It is filled with all #1 books from mostly the mid to late 70's-the mid 80's. About 50/50 Marvel and DC Books haven't been touched in 20 years. I will start to post them for sale here tomorrow after work. Stay tuned Trey
  6. Hey folks. Really would like a Conan #1 raw in 9.0+ Or a graded copy in CGC 8.5-9.2. I put this in the "Want to buy" section also. Please LMK.....Thanks
  7. That's Dec. 1932. Phoenix on the Sword. Actually a rejected Kull story with minor changes. March 1933 "The Tower of the Elephant" may better be described as the fist "true" Conan, where REH really gets a fix on who and what Conan is to become. Though actually the "Frost Giant's Daughter" and "The God in the Bowl" were written before Tower, just not published in Weird Tales. Ok, what was the first published Conan work?
  8. What # WT was the first conan in again?
  9. It's at $8600 so far.....That's a GREAT book you've got. What grade was it before the press?
  10. Just got these two ASM#5 and #16 in the mail. 17 was already in my collection, but I had forgotten about it. Very happy with #5 & #16
  11. Just got this beaut today. Finally completes my THOR #126-225 in NM or better collection.....
  12. I would get the grader's notes first. You are correct that it is a handsome looking book but I suspect there is a hidden defect. Rusty staples, detached centerfold, page tear ? That very well could be. And i will get the notes.....Thanks
  13. Ya. It's not quite a 9.6, but I honestly would not be shocked if it got a 9.2....Back cover is very clean. Just a little date stamp on the back.
  14. Just got this yesterday. Thanks to forum member byosti. I am resubbing it next week. In hand the book looks like a 9.0 Either way, I am happy. Been after this one for several years. I'll keep everyone posted on the new grade....
