    So here is an interesting question. Given that Grandma, TC and Jody are pretty key characters in Preacher, why doesn't the label for CGC say that? Looking at copies on eBay none of them say first full appearance of TC, Jody and grandma. on the plus side just got a 9.8 copy of preacher 8 for $41.05...

    Not defending the guys actions but isn't that one of the reasons for digital comics? I mean most of my reads are digitals and my LCS are usually books that I'm speculative on.

    Hey in the end if it is special to you then that's all that matters. One of my favorite comics is daredevil 227... not worth a lot but special to me.

    Sure it's desirable but that's way too broad a generalization. I mean NM 98 at a 9.6 isn't a fail. Batman adventures 12. Books like that... still can have significant value at a 9.6 or 9.4. So can the rare and valuable variant covers etc. sure they are worth more at 9.8 but saying all non 9.8 MA comics are fails is ridiculous

    Why are you calling them fails? Just cause they aren't 9.8s? Or cause the cost to slab them wasn't equal the value?

    lol... Just bemused... I was looking for a better copy than what I owned to have Frank sign at C2E2 and wasn't finding JACK at the vendor booths. Just found it funny.
