  1. Yes I agree with that, I made a mistake on my end; that much I will say. I should have contacted him about it before the book sold again. It's just we all know how sales are often like where you reach an agreement with a prospective buyer only for them to disappear or pull away from the sale. I was just leery of that. I'm sorry it ended up like this. I just didn't think it warranted any kind of probation.

  2. Really you nominated me for probation because of this? I accepted your offer under the assumption you would pay for the book or at least advise me when payment would be sent. You never claimed that book, nor did you send any kind of response to my message regarding the invoice.

My OP does state that if you want a book to simply state that, since what kind of proof of an agreement do I have that payment will be sent. I waited more than 48 hours, and then another buyer made another offer on the same book. More time passed, and still I heard nothing from the buyer. In my experience I make payment on my purchase immediately, and if I can't pay within at least a day I advise the seller of this, or at least make it known that I want the book.

If you had done anything in those 48+ hours I would have pulled the book. But nothing was said and I didn't know if you wanted the book or not. I didn't sell the book for more, and  the next buyer claimed said book before payment was made, which he did.

An agreement may have been made, but the responsibility can't just be on the sellers behalf. You just didn't appear that you wanted the book until well after another buyer had paid. I would have loved to of sold you the book! You just never told me how long it would take.

We're also not talking a 2k book here where time needs to be taken to get finances in order, or other arrangements need to be made. I'm sorry, I should have asked you if you still wanted the book, but this is a simple miscommunication at worst.

  3. No that's the inner cover, the outer cover is the revolutionary war one as noted. It may be the incorrect cover; either way I didn't spend very much on it. It would just be nice to have a complete copy. That and I don't want to sell it with the back cover if it's not the right one.

Until I figure out the back cover issue, I better hold off on selling that one. The rest are all still for sale.

What the hell?!  Did you call CGC?  They should have fixed that for you unless that back cover doesn't really go with the book.

Oh yeah I called them about it the minute it arrived. They told me in some conditions for the safety of the book they wouldn't grade it with the cover. So they didn't grade it complete and sent it back incomplete. The covers were detached, but the  a book was complete. Ididn't know what to do then as sending the one book back would cost me a fortune, and what if the same result happened again? It's definitely the same back cover. I didn't include some random cover for the heck of it. Should I maybe give it another try? The rep I spoke with back in January about it wasn't all that helpful honestly.

  5. Justice League of America #1 CGC 0.5 Missing Back Cover (Incomplete) On Hold Until Cover is Checked Out

This one bugged me though as it does have the back cover, as I submitted it detached. But for some reason CGC didn't slab it with both parts of the cover. As you can see the back cover is there.
