If you enjoyed that, check out Black Science. Both have semi-tragic, flawed leads. Black Science has more of an ensemble cast, but hits on some similar themes, though it can be a touch heavy handed. But very entertaining.

Oh I have those too lol. I just like Rick as a creator and writer. I guess we all have our favorites and try to consume as much of their work as possible. I'd say he is one of mine for sure.

Several other Remender books, though none quite as compelling as this one IMO.

I finished Fear Agent a little while back... I really loved that whole series. Luckily a lot of Remender's work is on Hoopla so I pull a lot of that to read. I also subscribed to The Realm and really liking that. It's just kinda up my alley I guess.

For those collectors in the Pacific Northwest, writer Rick Remember (Seven to Eternity, Uncanny X-force, Image, Dark Horse) will be signing at Golden Age Collectables on Granville St in downtown Vancouver, BC Sat. Nov. 11/17 about 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is the same weekend as Fan Expo Vancouver for those in town. :acclaim:

Saw this on his insta this weekend! The Deadly Class cast was there too right? Hopefully he makes it to C2E2 this next April...

Alright, now you have me searching for the Castlevania variant haha. I haven't seen that one.

The secret variant is cool too... I only know what it looks like because a seller included a picture of it in his ebay listing. Despite the whole point of the variant to be "secret" and not show anyone lol. Lots of cool old "D&D" like covers with it. I enjoyed the first issue so I'm happy to read it.

Yeah, Im looking forward to this too. Looking at Dark Night Metal, Realm and a few others for myself.

I have a few of the Realm Covers already... 1A, 1B, and the Castlevania Variant from the UK. I like the other ones but not enough to buy them at those prices. They are fantastic art though. I also just bought some Dark Ark variants, mainly because I love the cover art. Being one with an Art History background is bad for my wallet... lol

If you're a R&M fan _PLEASE_ don't take this personal.

I never heard of them in my life. Never watched the show.. I've heard of Simpsons, South Park, futurama, family guy. You know. The real BIG shows.

That cover is hurrendous. I've heard of people buy books because of rarity. But this amount of money for that cover is mental. It defies anything that happens in the market right now.

And I don't think that this will go away, R&M comics have been hot for months now and they're not slowing down.

So again, I'm not a hater, I just cannot explain this

I am a fan of those shows as well and due to some of the animation I could just not get into R&M...but I gave it a second shot on a few episodes later after the first one and it does have some very witty writing. There are a LOT of pop culture references and history written into the show and those layers help it appeal to a larger audience. Go back and watch some of the early Simpsons episodes. I can't. But from the few episodes I've seen this show does have something and I hope it stays around for a bit.

I actually called comic bug. There's a couple ways to get your hands on a copy. Mike even said he'd cherry pick a 9.8 for me. I bought $50 of TPB of other Remender books. Or on their eBay site they have other packages. So definitely buy it direct from comic bug, instead of buying it second hand for $75.

I bought the Uncanny Avengers Omni and got the FCBD variant yesterday. It looks fantastic! Hopefully I can get it graded and preserve it. I just really like it. Also UA is pretty fun to read.

  8. Seven to Eternity - The Comic Bug FCBD Variant Question

I have a copy of this on the way as it seems The Comic Bug is unable to "sell" the variant but they can sell other stuff and offer it for "free" through their eBay store. My question is that would a FCBD variant like this be worth having graded? Per Remender's twitter they had a run of 1000. I'm hopefully they send it packaged nicely because I really enjoy the cover. Because its a FCBD I didn't really know if people have those things graded like that. Here is the variant in question: http://comicbookdb.com/issue.php?ID=401666

    Thanks! :)
