  1. If anyone has an extra CGC 3.0 or lower that they'd like to sell, shoot me a pm. I want into the club
  2. What kind of grade do you think this would fetch? Also, how do you guys feel about the pence stamp? Glad DC didn't print the "10d" on their Silver Age comics, noticed CGC doesn't consider these as U.K variants.
  3. At least you've been in the club I come here to cry
  4. This is my Holy Grail. Beautiful copy, wish I could justify the expense at the moment. Lesson: Buy expensive things you want, then have kids. GLWS!
  5. Hey everyone! I am from Hawaii and started reading comics when I was 16 (2004) and got hooked on Green Lantern from Rebirth. Didn't start collecting till almost 8 years later when I met a group of guys in the Air Force that shared the hobby. We would all go to a LCS in Omaha, Nebraska (stationed at Offutt AFB) every Wednesday to pick up our weekly fix. I have since left active duty and work as a military contractor/reservist at Hurlburt Field, FL where we have one LCS so I get the majority of my collectible comics online. The first comic I had CGC graded was a Star Wars #1 (1977) and received a 9.2 which I was so happy about, never been too snobby about grades. A few Star Wars books and a couple of ASM are the only Marvel in my collection as the majority are DC and wouldn't you guess it...Green Lantern. Still on the hunt for a Showcase #22 but for now I am content with what I have. Looking forward to learning from this community and seeing all the amazing comics that some of the guys/gals have on here. Just saw the "TOP 5 GRAILS - THAT YOU OWN" thread and someone shared a picture of their 3 copies of All-Star #8 and 3 copies of AF #15...just insane and awesome to see the comics that people have collected in their time. Again, glad to be here.
  6. 1. Showcase #22 2. Brave and the Bold #28 3. Green Lantern #76 4. Hawkman #4 5. Iron Man #1
  7. I didn't follow any sort of order watching these Marvel shows and started with Iron Fist, it definitely soured my taste for the others. After a little break, I took the dive into Daredevil (season 1) and Jessica Jones and wow they were fantastic! What the hell happened to Iron Fist?
  8. I've been wondering the same thing, I have a few comics that have this same type of wear and didn't know how it would affect grading. I almost prefer a copy like yours where it is consistent across the spine. This Rick and Morty #1 has it randomly across the spine, not a perfect book anyway but this makes me less convinced it's worth grading.
