  1. It has an older label so I'm assuming this was never pressed/cleaned. But I'm noticing a good chunk of color missing on Superman's Suit, a dog ear at the top right corner, not sure what to make of those staples, and of course not sure how much writing on the cover affects the grade. Thanks in advance
  2. I was watching this auction too. A grail like that is worth more in my books Why is it the seller lost 25%? I thought Heritage extracts 10%
  3. Another question about this one: https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/cartoon-character/walt-disney-s-comics-and-stories-17-file-copy-dell-1942-cgc-nm-mt-98-off-white-to-white-pages/a/40208-81465.s?type=bidnotice-endofauction Is this the oldest Donald Duck Cover to score a 9.8? And yes, unfortunately I don't encounter many Disney/Duck Books when I go Box Hunting, but the ones I find are surprisingly good. No major keys but the age, condition, and asking prices for these issues are great. In my opinion, some of the best cover art were from the Golden Age of Disney.
  4. That is my second favorite Donald Duck Cover. I hope to own a good copy of it some day
  5. This one is interesting. The Walt Disney Comics and Stories #17 https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/cartoon-character/walt-disney-s-comics-and-stories-17-file-copy-dell-1942-cgc-nm-mt-98-off-white-to-white-pages/a/40208-81465.s?ic16=ViewItem-BrowseTabs-Auction-Archive-ThisAuction-120115 The 9.6 sold for $5520 and this one doubled. Not sure how good of a price/investment that 9.8 is. Not a key issue but something that old in a 9.8. The next one in line is an 8.5
  6. https://www.philadelphiacomiccon.com/ Will CGC be attending this one? There are quite a few autographs I would like to obtain here
  7. Signed by Haruo Nakajima (Godzilla) & Sugotoshi Kamada (Jet Jaguar) Signed by Tom Hiddleston, "There are no men like me." Chris Hemsworth, "He's Adopted" and Stan Lee Both stressed the heck out of me when I got them. With the Godzilla Book, Haruo San was very careful with it. Mr. Kamada handled it like a newspaper. The Thor Book was worse. Hiddleston and Hemsworth were smooth at the Philly Con. I thought Stan's Last Con was the NYCC last year figured I'd take one last chance (still regretting it). One of his staff goons gave me a hard time because I dropped my ticket and pushed my book away which ended up dropping to the ground. It got a few stress marks. My heart broke and I was ready to strangle him. Relieved and surprised it returned with a 9.8
