A press and clean could bump it up.
-
The stains and staple rust migration make it a 2.0 at best imo.
-
I'm in the 3/3.5 camp. Pressing the bends will help push it to 3.5 but I don't see 4.0 with so much spine wear and the other numerous creases.
-
There is spine wear especially top corner that will knock it down, but I'm more concerned with the bc. It looks like there is a bend from that picture and discoloration (unless that is just the way it was printed or the lighting).

I tried to press a 10 into an 11. No luck.

I'd buy books that look like that all day if they're priced at 7.5 grade-levels. The corner dings definitely drop below a 9.4 but I think you're at around 8.5 as it lays with an opportunity to press several grades higher.
I guess my 7.5 books are a bargain.

That could bring it down depending on length of split.

Hello @Kerorogunsu and welcome on board. Your photos aren't as clear as they could be, but I think I can see a big centre spine crease. Difficult to be precise therefore, but I'd say a 9.0 at this point. Have fun
I see it too. Might not be cb so a press could bring it up considerably.
-
If the bc were cleaned I could see 3.5

Square bound books and tough. There is almost always something going on with the spine. I don't know if CGC takes this into account. Why is the tape there? Is there a tear or spine split it's covering?
-
I'm saying 5.0. looks like stain bc that maybe goes into the pages? If so then could be lower.

Not unless you find a press that replaces chunks of the cover. If you do let me know. I could use one.

I personally wouldn't call a book with a spine split NM.

Back cover please and better to tell outside the bag.

Bottom corner is much worse. Without a press I'd revise to below 7.5.
-
Depends on the grade. It would have to be in nearly perfect shape. Post pics on the buddy can you spare a grade forum to find out if it's worth submitting. If it has any wear at all it's probably not worth it.

The bottom corner has problems too.
-
That's a nasty corner. The rest of the book looks nice but without a press I'd sell it as a 7.5. I'm probably in the minority here but I try to go by the book rather the mysterious CGC algorithm.
-
It's a bit blurry but that doesn't look good. Of course depends what grade it is priced at. There isn't really a heirarchy. Also it's important to see the bc as that can often drop the grade significantly due to stains or other defects. I wouldn't buy a book without clear higher resolution images of front and back cover.
