I submitted my first book Standard tier, the turnaround time was 15 days when it was recieved (3/1). Now the turnaround time has gone down to 10 days but my book is still in G/E/I since (3/6). Is this normal?

I have a book in since 10/2022 and its still stuck in grading.

Check for any color loss due to rubs on front and back. CGC has become very harsh on those especially on Copper and Modern.

How are color rubs identified on grader notes?  I had several books that have notes indicating "wear on left cover" but when I sent the books in they were in awesome shape.

Gives me a really bad feeling knowing CGC themselves may be damaging books.

    Hello @EmoJackson,

I am sorry for the confusion. Your submission WILL NOT be able to be tracked using your submission number until it has been scanned back into CGC AFTER the CCS process. Once it has been transferred you will be able to track it once again. Rest assured your submissions will stay in line from when they were received and will continue through the process until they are completed. If you ever want an update on when they might be completed feel free to find our current Estimated Turnaround CCS Turnaround Times using the link below. Also, you can give us a call at any time for an update as they continue through the process. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Soo, that doesn't make me feel any better.  I would think it would bother others submitting books as well.

Sucks feeling like your belongings are in "limbo" and being told to trust a system that can make mistakes.

What happens if a submission is lost?

Todd McFarlane will NOT sign any of these books during the CGC In-House Private Signing: Venom #1 Color Variant Cover, Venomverse #1 B&W Variant, Venomverse #1 Color, Venom #6 Color Variant Edition, Spawn Retailer Thank You Variant. TODD WILL NOT SIGN ANY PARODY COVERS. He will only sign books and characters he has worked on.

Cool... but I asked if anyone knew why.  LOL

  5. Thanks for the reply @CMatthews I'm sure you can see there are a couple flaws with the current tracking methodology.  These books fell off the tracker since they were older than eight months, ideally a customer should be able to track their order throughout the entire process (including through CCS).  When using invoice number 3977817 I'm provided with a blanket of "Your submission is in the “Received” status. Line item detail is not yet available." which doesn't provide much clarity without having to ask for support.  I have another batch of books going in shortly, but I fear that they will get lost in the process... how can customers be assured they wont?  What happens if they do?

, I have a tough choice to make. I like the 9.8 and it’s a scary risk for it to come back any lower.

This is a giant issue that I'm contemplating right now.   I have a Wolverine Mini Series (SS Claremont)  that are in 9.8 - 9.6 that I would like to send out for Frank Milller's signature but I really don't want to lose the grade.

Has there been many issues with downgrades after repeat signature events?

  7. I submitted a batch of books for the Jim Lee / Scott Williams signing event.  My spouse also wrote "Sign by Jim Lee" on the box vs just the regular initials.  I noted that the package was delivered 7/22 making the 7/30 cutoff, however the books have not been entered into the cgc system yet.  Has the signing been delayed?

When I submitted my question via the submission form I received an automated reply back from Dean Martin, stating they are just now getting to books received 6/14.  Which doesn't really answer my question.   Did writing "Sign By Jim Lee"  really cause the books to be mis-directed?  If so, how do I proceed.
