  1. Thanks very much I didn't know what to expect without the reflection in the eye of the final color - but it looks good! No problem (thumbs u And yes, it certainly rocks!
  2. Me too. The other WD original cover art I'm really curious to see is #9. I think I have a picture of it somewhere....it belongs to Rick Remender (of Fear Agent fame) I'll try to hunt it down if I can find it. It's not a close up (the art is hanging on Rick's wall), but it's still cool to see I'd like that Found it!!!

  4. Thanks so much for the links Brandon, that preview for #50 has me mighty excited
  5. Yes, the Special Edition of #1 is very cool! My favorite part about it is the original black and white line art of the original cover to #1 (drawn by Tony Moore, of course). You can see all of the different zombies much easier (in the reflection of the broken store-front window) than in the finished product. Also, the original 5-page pitch is very cool to see.....Tony Moore draws a VERY buff looking Rick in that
  6. The first Omnibus was a fantastic, over sized, 24 issue masterpiece. I can't wait for the 2nd one. Ditto Hopefully they do another limited signed and numbered version as well
  7. Correct! It's a reprint of the very first issue of the Walking Dead, and it has extras like the original proposal to Image comics, and some -script examples (thumbs u
  8. EDIT: Its still active.... Do you get the OA included? I highly doubt it.....
  9. I'm swinging by the LCS after my session with my therapist. Hopefully they can keep the voices away.
  10. Yeah, it was definitely a quick read, but Robert Kirkman let Adlard's art do the talking for the most part, and it was very effective as far as I'm concerned! Ditto, that is what I see happening as well (thumbs u
  11. Were you expecting a fast-paced "kill 'em all" like the last issue? I really enjoyed #49, as it gave the readers a breather from all of the chaos. It will certainly be interesting to see what the milestone issue #50 brings, I can't wait!
  12. It's the only title I read right in the store (after buying of course ). Another awesome issue. I really enjoyed the pacing after #48, but it's still a fast read. I'll read it again along with the letters column tonight. I'm a believer that you shouldn't have to put a spoiler alert when the title says "Discussion Thread", so there's your warning... . . . . . . . . . . . I did a double take on the first 2 pages. At first look I thought "hey that looks like Tyreese's head, but why are his eyes moving around? maybe it isn't him, just looks like him"... flip the page to Michonne putting her sword through the head - then a quick flip back to page one... and maaan, Kirkman pulls off another brutal Walking Dead moment, and to Michonne of all characters, who is already messed up times 10. Will Kirkman kill Rick after all? He already kicked us in the balls and stabbed our hearts during #48 - maybe this issue is just a quick breath and wind up for the bigger hit to come in #50. I love this book. SPOILERS AHEAD: Agreed Brandon, I did a double-take and flip-back on that first page as well I'm really hoping Kirkman does NOT kill Rick in issue #50, but you never know. The ending of this issue sure didn't leave our hero looking to be in the best of shape! Oh, and I love this book as well!
  13. Ok, anyone check out #49 yet? Nice issue, a great change of pace from the recent arc, and a bit of a cliffhanger at the end, of course. I won't spoil anything
  14. So, you've only read the first 12 issues? Yes, still going strong and still a GREAT read, The first 24 I believe. (thumbs u Oh yeah, that's what I meant
  15. So, you've only read the first 12 issues? Yes, still going strong and still a GREAT read,

  18. 1:25 Yep, that's what Mr. Kirkman confirmed (thumbs u
  19. Fixed. (thumbs u This is funny in a completely ironic way. How about "characters" ? Issue #49 out tomorrow - whoo! YES!!!
