  1. The one i can get is a 9.8 Thoughts? CGC 9.8 have been selling for $200-$300 I just want an opinion if the book is going to increase in value from here or if it has been overhyped, short lived with only an animated film locked in
  2. There is one up on ebay now 7hrs remaining 4 bidders 8 bids already at $30 US
  3. I cant find one cheaper on ebay?? First print. And i have to consider postage costs when buying international can be around $40 extra. So whats the theory on this comic going forward? I say overhyped. Is it likely to increase in value? Or decline?
  4. Should i pick up an Ultimate Fallout 4 first print for $45 still polybagged? Has this comic peaked? Will it hold value? Increase in value?
  5. Oh yes, could be him. But i would have thought they would cast an older person for that character. Any other ideas?
  6. Lol. Michael who? I'm thinking...... Weapon Omega Chamber Korvak
  7. Hi ya'll. Does anybody have any idea which character "mike" is in the leaked Deadpool 2 audition tape? I have 3 in mind at the moment, would like to hear others thoughts on who it is.

  9. Haha. Firstly your way of the words is quite unique and thanks for the reply. yes the idea is 70/30 time capsule/nest egg. I really enjoy the thought of my son opening up a box and finding comics that are near the 80-90 year old mark. I think that might be derived from the fact i wish someone had have done that for me! Haha. My theory also is that theres a chance a copy of a particular comic is scarce which has the potential to be valuable. On that note, is it pointless obtaining any old superhero comic from the 50's & 60's? should they ONLY be keys or #1's or significant issues?
  10. Hi all, just wondering if it would be wise to buy superhero comics from the 50's in almost any condition? Would there be a heap of comics from the 50's "out there" either in the wild or in collections? I intend to store them for many years for my young son and when he's my age he can open up a box and hopefully have a bit of fun doing what he likes with them. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated
  11. Some of the old stuff will heat up in the not to distant future. I would hang on to them for now. The film had a hollywood -script but when Sony took over from Warners Bros they scrapped it and are completing a full rewrite so the film isnt in production yet and they also have to wait untill Aquaman is finished production. (Same director) If you have a Macross #1 1984 it will heat up the most so sit on it. There were a lot of series and issues that disappointed fans they failed many times and it did not help that the title changed hands through different comic companys about 3-4 times! Titan and sony are wanting to start afresh and create a somewhat new franchise with existing title, existing characters and use past story lines as an influence but then add to it. All ive been reading and watching from current fans and new prospects is genuine excitement that this franchise is being given a new lease of life and a likely chance of becoming the equivalant of some established yet burnt out top worldwide film, toy, comic and associated merchandise brands.
  12. I am contributing to the thread. I have put the research into this and i know sometimes i go about it the wrong way but honestly i am only trying to help. Speculating is a tough caper but i'm very confident in this one. Robotech is a low cost low risk investment at the moment. You guys over in the states can pick up the 8 retail variants for around $4 a piece. Theres a 500 copy only for around $10 and the 100 copy is around $30. Chase a NM or thereabouts of macross #1 (cool cover) the franchise(movie) will start from this series. So you might be looking at a total spend of $150-$200 max for 11-12 NM comics. Sit on them for a few years and offload when they are white hot.
  13. Obviously no comparison. Robotech will gain momentum fast. There is an oppurtunity to take over that genre and they know it. They stuffed up in the late 80's early 90's and now they can make amends and go about it properly with not much competition. Transformers is cooling off star wars has fizzled. From a comic collecting, flipping, investment purpose i would rather own copies now when no one wants them than be chasing them when everyone wants them.
  14. Very true but In time Robotech will absorb the majority of the Transformers fans. Transformers have come the end of there time. There is nothing left for them Robotech will be heavily advertised and built up when the time is right. They feel they can make it global not just America UK they will engage Europe and Asia even Australia will jump on board as we follow anything the yanks do! You name it and Robotech will have it as a branch of there franchise. The comics are somewhat of a start.
  15. Your all over it now aren't you? Lol. It's sad but i've probably put in around 40hrs of research into Robotech.
  16. nice one! I'm just really excited about it. As you can tell!
  17. Any of these a chance of heating up a little over the next 1-5 years? The Eternals #7 1977 Battlestar Gallactica #1 1978 The New Mutants #1 1983 New Mutants #100 1991 Icon #1 1993 Iceman #1 1984 Uncanny Xmen #317 1994 Xforce #8 1992 The New Mutants #99 1991 New Mutants #66 1988 Xfactor #17 1987 Xfactor #8 1986 The Eternals #9 1976
  18. Buy $1000 worth of Titans Robotech #1 2017 Variants. Try and source every single one and sit on them for a couple of years
  19. Robotech will be huge. Trust me it will be epic! They are going to make it into a monumental franchise but at the moment biding there time. Wait untill Transformers fizzes out which it almost already has. In terms of comic speculation theres is 8 Robotech #1 2017 retail issue variants seven 1:1 one 1:10 There are also going to be lots more including one i have pre ordered a 100 copy only variant which will make it the rarest copy to obtain. This franchise will surpass transformers and rival some of the greatest animated turned live action movie/franchise ever. I have done so much research into this that i just can't wait untill the whole thing is rolling! Im in Australia so i cant do this but if i was anyone that reads this post and can get to San Diego Titan have a booth #5537. Get there and grab the convention only variant by Rachel Stott also grab the blue line veritech sketch by Tommy Yune he will signing from 1pm Sat the 22nd. You can thank me by grabbing me those two Variants and a signature while your at it. I'll pay for comic purchase and shipping to Aus.
  20. Thanks for the reply ygogolak. So not worth much lol! Might be a little more in Australia but anyway not bad for $3. I also picked up a Transmetropolitan #1 Sep 97 in excellent condition bagged and boarded for $3. It was strange we dont really have a source for comics in the town i live in we can take a trip to Melbourne comic stores but very low chance of finding anything there. So i went to local second hand book dealer and there was a pile of about 50 comics all fairly modern in terrible condition i find two hidden away in the middle bagged and boarded spawn and metropolitan.
  21. Hi all, can anyone help me with this comic in terms of possible value and information on the signature?? I'm fairly new to collecting comic books. I stumbled across this in a local book shop today. Picked it up for $3. Looks to be in great condition. I'm from Australia i cant upload a photo! Its Spawn #9 1993 with a "Al Simmons AKA Spawn 94" signed in a gold type of pen. Any help would be greatly appreciated
