  1. CGC 9.4 EOS 2 Land Variant sold for $2300 (based on the buy_it_now price hack) . 9.6's were selling at ~$1500 back in June.
  2. Looks like it. I have 2 as well. Bought raw on ebay both graded out at 9.8.
  3. I'm seeing a 9.8 Vengeance #1 that sold for $1,140 on ebay a few days ago. Only one sale, but a crazy increase vs prev sold prices.
  4. There's a CGC 9.8 Young Avengers #1 Wizard World LA Variant current bid $911 with 2 days left on the auction. Big time increase.
  5. OK, I have to ask. Are you the person who outbid me on a 9.8 Spider-Man Noir #1 Newsstand last year?
  6. Has anyone here ever seen a Young Avengers #1 newsstand edition?
  7. That's crazy. Newsstand. I've never seen one of those in AF15. where did you find that?
  8. Keep an eye out for Amazing Fantasy 15 (vol 2 - 1st Amadeus Cho Appearance). They went from plentiful to scarce on ebay and the 9.8 price just crossed $500. Very low print count on this one.
  9. Last night a CGC 9.6 Edge of Spider-Verse sold on Ebay for $750. Did something new happen that I missed?
  10. I have been opportunistically piling up 9.8's w/ 5 standard covers and one WWLA. I frankly had been ignoring the Director's cuts but maybe I shouldn't have been.
  11. What is the story behind the Director's Cut anyway? $400 is crazy, they usually sell for much less that the regular issue. Also I haven't heard of any newsstand copies of this issue. Pretty sure they exist though. Ever seen any?
  12. Not a huge increase but Young Avengers #1 has crossed the $300 mark for 9.8's. Probably driven by the Disney+ Kate Bishop casting news.
  13. Good question. I think a big piece of the equation is demand for both the underlying issue and also demand for the newsstand variation. General awareness that there is a newsstand also comes into play. The Spider-Man Noir #1 newsstand is a good example of a hard to find newsstand ( from 2009) that simply has EXTREMELY low awareness and is not well documented. Even when appropriately described as a newsstand on Ebay the premium over the past year or so has been maybe 5-10% if that.
  14. Direct edition of this one is heating up according to covrprice.com. No mention of newsstand edition though. I'm sure its just a matter of time before folks realize how hard this one is to find in Newsstand!
  15. Spider-Man Noir #1 is on the move Keep an eye out for newsstands. They're a tough find.
  16. Hoping to get opinions on whether this is a mis-cut or if it has been altered. https://imgur.com/zMOXP4p
  17. OK. I know there are several differences on the UPC, (says "Marvel Super Heroes" instead of "Direct Edition", and there are different UPC codes, Direct Edition version doesn't include US/CAN after the price) but not aware of any other difference such as the actual price.
  18. Following up on this one, what does it take for CGC to recognize and label a Newsstand Edition as such? I submitted mine as a newsstand but it was ignored.
  19. Here it is: http://www.recalledcomics.com/UltimateSpider-Man2011-1PichelliSketch.php
  20. Going back to this one. 60 total are in CGC census. Looks like (328K) of the standard issue were printed . 1:1000 puts this one at: 328 Base max assumption: 328 total issues as part of retailer incentive - x minus number of thousands of copies not part of a 1K copy lot + x additional copies provided outside of the retailer incentive ????
