  1. Have fun everyone! I'm Sorry I can't attend I was looking forward to meeting you all and seeing some great book!
  2. I'm a lifelong Batman fan (going back 40 years plus) and I still think TDKR is the greatest story in the entire catalogue. And I love the art....perfect to capture the grittiness of the story, the effort to relaunch himself, the darkness of the time in Gotham. I was totally blown away when it came out and still am every time I re-read it. So much so that I've picked up some of the proof pages as they've come up on HA over the years. I'm a bit surprised by the criticism but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  3. Thank you everyone, much appreciated!
  4. Things were so much easier back in the day...I had to eventually stop going to stadiums as it was too easy to pick up the vendor girls...LOL
  5. My LCS has a late GA book that has a green label with a married cover, noted on the label. Notes show cover was split and reattached with tape. I'm not thrilled with tape, but my question is...why would this be considered "Married? Is there any chance of cracking and resubmitting coming back as a blue label? I'd be ok thinking it's all original, but just was loved so much it needed tape...but does a "married" notation absolutely mean it's not the original cover and that fact was established when it was submitted? Or is the detached cover alone trigger qualified? I've seen other blue labels with detached covers I thought. Thanks so much for any insight.
  6. Bought another great book from Rick. Lightning fast, great communication as usual! Thanks Rick!
  7. I have been but don't know what to compare it to. I'd think it would be described as a larger one with lots of opportunities to buy. It's a great scene overall.
  8. Totally agree...I don't see any ethics issue.
