These copies have an interesting pedigree. I am only the second owner. The first owner was Marc Estes. His family rented Eastman and Laird the space where Mirage Studios began. It was a humble space and hence 'Mirage.' Marc held onto these copies until a few years ago when I purchased them. I had Eastman authenticate the books not long after I purchased them; however, CGC was not certifying them at the time and they remained ungraded until this month. As a collector, the certification certainly adds value. :-)

amen I'm trying to be patient, mine were delivered to cgc for the signing in Dec 2020 and Jan 2021, but I'm still in the 2nd batch somehow it's the waiting!
Maybe they were a bit harsh it looks like, but still, it's secured now and able for full enjoyment, to know that he had to look at yours specifically to authenticate
If I had come back to comics a bit earlier, I may have had shot at them, still coolness!
They are definitely a 'blue chip' level collectible with the certification done. They will always be rare. :-)

woo hoo! Such coolness, mine are somehow in the 2nd Eastman batch in 3-4 weeks but vicariously I shall live until then!
Congrats! sigh of relief
Yes, I heard about the second signing. I registered for the Eastman event within an hour of it going live. He's such a nice guy it's great to participate in his success. May the grading Gods be with you. I feel like the grading on the #2 was a little harsh, but I can't complain too much. Feeling grateful to have these copies certified.

Slightly Brittle & Brittle Page Quality Definitions
in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
Posted
I just bought a mystery men 7 with stated cream to off-white pages only to discover the grader notes stating "brittleness splitting interior." I find this extremely frustrating because I usually do not buy brittle page books. I feel duped by CGC not the seller. So frustrating!
