  1. Boring stuff:

Payment:  PayPal or cash if local. Possibly apple pay if you have good references.

Shipping (conus):  Book will be shipped via USPS Priority. Fully insured with signature confirmation. I will only ship to the confirmed shipping address.

International:  Pm me. Prefer to deal stateside first as its much easier.

Returns:  No returns on CGC books. You know what you are buying even if your wife doesn't  :headbang:

HoS folks and probies please don't bother.

First "Take it" trumps all pm negotiations.

Check my profile for my kudos thread.

    Price:

Spider-Man 101 cgc 6.0. Never been pressed or cleaned. Definitely some potential for a bump imo.

GPA 90 day is 467. Last sold is 515.

I'll let it go for 450 shipped to your door if conus.

    Thanks!

  2. I'm finally ready to make a move towards my grail of grails. Sadly this has to go to get me there.

Just got hit with the auto pay last week. I'm leaning towards cancelling before the next one.

I too just cancelled. I will check back in a month or two and see if it has improved.. The response time is just too slow and clunky, especially on mobile. I am a fan of GPA, so I will circle back without question and see how it improves but for the time being, I will utilize gocollect as it's mobile platform is much more stable/usable.

I just canceled my subscription. I just get a spinning circle on a PC. I can get some info on my phone but it sucks. Anyone else get this on PC?

It's slow no matter what platform I use. I am a network engineer by trade and have quite a bit of various equipment I use both at the job and at home. Doesn't matter what I use. It's just a slow loading mess most days. I am not giving up yet as I know development is an ongoing process, but sheesh. It's definitely painful to use right now.

  5. Facebook is a solid place to buy/sell and you will come across some stellar deals from time to time. Just be sure to always protect yourself. PayPal goods and services 100% of the time or walk away. There are a ton of genuine buyers/sellers who are part of various comic groups. Don't let one bad apple spoil it for you.

  6. Don't mind the desktop portal as I got used to it rather quickly. It's very clunky but it's growing on me.

My biggest gripe is the mobile page and the severe lack of speed in loading pages. I was debating a purchase last night and it took forever for pages to load on an iPhone and iPad. Very frustrating. It's shiny and new so I'll give it time but man. Bumpy start.

  7. Question for you folks. Didn't want to start my own thread for this, so feel free to ignore me if so. Been checking ebay quite a bit to gauge the heat on both of these 2 books and im trying to decide what the smart choice is.

I have a walking dead #1 in a 9.8 and my brother has proposed a trade to me as he is a huge TWD junkie. He is offering up an Edge of Spider-verse 2 land variant in a 9.8. Take the trade or nah? Thanks for any info/help you guys can give.

If you're planning to wait it might be awhile... the book tracked well with the popularity of the show, and as the popularity has been fading, so has the value in the book and all TWD keys for that matter. I have no idea what AMC's plans are, but with all the spin-offs in talks and on-air and main show renewed for season 10, and the comic book just freshly ending it might take several years for it to hit rock bottom in popularity and all the fair-weather fans and speculators still holding to dump.

But, if it's a book you really can't wait on, it's not a terrible time to buy. It's on the downswing, just may not be all the way down yet. The good thing with that book is the low-print run will prevent it from ever falling off the cliff completely, and will always have decent value in high-grade. Just my opinion.

Appreciate the advice. I might go ahead and start the hunt now and get it done. Prices are in a decent spot for me and I think you're right. It's never going to bottom out, so I might as well grab it while it's in a range I am happy with.

Anyone want to talk about Reaver #1, Canto #1, GoGo Power Rangers #21, Turtles 51 and/or 95-97; SDCC stuff, if the Archie related GGA books have legs, Captain Marvel 8 (I'm probably passing on this book but copies are moving), the viability of Walking Dead books over the course of the next 60 days, 6 months, 6 years, Immortal Hulk, Naomi and/or something else that is maybe interesting?

Hey, I am game. I am actually looking to pick up a TWD #1 and would love some opinions on if I should be looking to buy now, in 6 months, or even further down the road. It's a book on my " I must have it" list, even if the series is done. I too am passing on Captain Marvel 8 unless I see one tomorrow morning at cover just sitting on the shelves. I am not going out of my way to find this book as I have my doubts about the "internet generated buzz" based off what appears to be more rumors. Reaver 1 was a solid read and I actually look forward to seeing how this series pans out long term.
