  1. That is an impressive collection of signatures for that book! Congrats. Just an fyi... here are the rules for this thread (found in the very first post by the thread's creator): I thought I would start a thread that would try and capture one of the really awesome things about doing signature series books. There are often opporunities to get one-of-a-kind books signed and graded. So here are the rules for posting books in this thread: 1. The book must be the only Signature Series book for that particular issue on the census 2. You may post your book if there are other SS copies on the census only if your copy is the highest and only graded copy. So if there are a couple SS 9.4's and you have the only SS 9.8, then you could post it here. 3. Please refrain from posting signed and sketched books as we all know that type of thing is one of a kind, plus there's another thread for that 3a. You may post a SS signed and sketched book if it is the only SS book, or single highest graded SS book.
  2. Those are ALL winners! This one is awesome!
  3. Other than my dreams... probably the closest I will ever get to Scarjo! Another recent pick up. By Georgia Francesconi! Big thanks to @devilsrain for letting me add this to my PC!
  4. The Paybacks #1 Signed by Donny Cates! The only 9.8 Signature Series in the census with none higher!
  5. This was a semi-recent addition. It was in an older slab so I sent it in for a makeover. By Paolo Rivera! And bonus signature from Stan Lee!
  6. You might get better luck with a response if you post in the thread below...
  7. Colors always make a sketch pop! Do you know why it hit 9.6? Maybe Lydic can cover up the issue? If you get it colored, you could also get it pressed and hope for the 9.8 (if that matters to you). Either way - nice sketches!
  8. Yes, it was you! It was a perfect recent comment to what Mellish50 was inquiring about so I just copied it over to this thread. Hope you don't mind?
  9. @Mellish50 Hi again. So, someone just posted the below comments in the thread regarding a recent in-house signing. Just another example of taking a risk when cracking open an already slabbed / graded book to get signed... "Unfortunately both my Chuck Dixon signed books were sent in as slabbed 9.8’s and came back as 9.6. First time its been like this for me in awhile so hoping its not due to carelessness or inconsistent grading. Also no I did not get a press but maybe its a possibility to get a bump if thats a thing on already graded SS?"
  10. Um... is that the Batmobile slightly visible in the picture!?!
  11. Hi. First off - don't waste money buying markers to send in with your books. CGC and / or the creators will provide them and my guess is they won't use sent in markers anyways. But just know that it is the creator's discretion as to which color to use - even if you put a note on the book asking for a specific color. Hopefully, the creator honors the color request - but if you look in the thread about the private signings (see below) there are plenty of examples of where color requests were not honored. Lastly, in that same thread and others found in the boards, you will find examples of books (i.e. blue label) being cracked open and resubmitted for Signature Series only for the grades of those books to drop - for whatever reason. It;s simply a risk you take when you decide to crack open an already graded book - even if you asked for it to get pressed just in case. And if you are already "terrified" about sending your books in and again, for whatever reason, they do not stay a 9.8 then maybe you shouldn't do it. Your risk / your call. )
  12. Thanks for sharing these Michael! Getting their signatures on that Brawl to Settle it All cover was a pretty cool idea!
