  2. I can't read the cert. # or I'd be able to tell you if is the Toth copy. I have most of them memorized. If it is the Toth copy it got from Dallas to Vancouver quick. only thing to come out of vancouver that wasn't a scam is greggy.
  3. i'd like to know what reasons were given for not giving the collection a pedigree status.

  5. He was either 52 or 53 in "75" . He does look younger, but looks more like an old time porn star. I wonder what REALLY went on in Stan's Bullpen! Anybody else hear Stan's voice in your head when you read something by him...or is it just me his right hand is not completely shown but i'm sure it's signing some book he either wrote, drew or read hes left handed Grinder should know. He is just out of the picture, at age 5, waiting for a signature and babbling about some Signature Series in the future. he's left handed now. in '75, before he wore it down to the nub from signing he was right handed

  8. kudos to bubbagump for moderns and a HC- professionally packaged and quickly shipped.
  9. unbelievable prices in this Sunday's Heritage Auction. 8-11x guide for a few 9.6's, issues #65,66,70
  10. kudos to spookley for a sweet slab and the handholding thru an 8 day "priority" delivery
  11. stick to noticing 9.4's and leave the dregs for us little guys. A 9.2 #24 is like a 9.4 of any other book. someone got a steal the last time this book appeared based on the price this go round. i was the unfortunate underbidder. i believe spookley bought it.

  13. given that there's only one 9.6 on the census, i would say 'no, it isn't going to be easy to obtain." And given that a 9.2 sold for $1400+ this year, i think you're looking at something like $6,000 for the 9.6. given the scarcity, that is probably on the low side.
  14. this seems to be happening more and more frequently. does the seller hope someone will be ignorant enough to throw out the min bid (50% of list) and catch a sucker that way? Plus, WTF is with the non-even $3,033 price? 1/2 the sign of the beast for the mathematically challenged

  16. Well, it looks to me like he has money coming in. but for those that got screwed
  17. Gorgeous copy. I wish I could still contribute to this thread, but someone bought all of my GLs, except for one. and that one remaining is a real stinker that should be kicked to the curb. i'll PM the address on the curb in front of my house.
  18. Not my fault CGC graded that a 9.0. Tough grading my azz. shut UP!!!! THAT was a slabbed 9.0??? I have no comeback for that  The Marvel Tales was a CGC 9.4 and everything else were CGC 9.0s. x-mas came very early.
  19. paging cal, report to the front desk. love the blue on the DD #84.
