  1. I don't have the Spanish version but I do have a few English copies. Definitely not an easy book to find.
  2. I'm glad to see I'm not alone.
  3. or someone can give me another copy so it's no longer 13.
  4. Vam*pi*rel*li*tis Noun Obsessive compulsive behavior to hoard any single issue of a Vampirella comic or magazine. No known cure and may even be contagious.
  5. I just came across this book at a local small con today. I never knew a gold one existed as I normally usually see the red ink cover occasionally. Usually I can find some kind of sales data or information on eBay or the web somewhere, but the only thing I found was a picture on MCS. Anyone know anything about this book? I'm curious about the print run, whether this was a rare incentive or any previous sales if anyone knows.
  6. Finally after a year and a half of waiting since placing the pre-order, my new Vampirella statue has finally arrived!
  7. Feel free to add this guy to your block list for partial refund fishing / feedback extortion. sunsetpoem66 This buyer reached out to me enthusiastically about my Vampirella books I had in my eBay store and purchased one of my lots. After some back and forth messaging through eBay, I told him I had a bunch more Vampirella books that haven't been listed yet. We worked out which books he wanted so I can build him a custom listing on eBay. Then he tells me that he will spring for the custom listing a few weeks later which I said that's fine. After he receives the first lot that he purchased, he reaches out to me telling me one of the books didn't meet his standard and asked for a free book in the custom listing as a "replacement". I didn't think much about it and told him that's fine as long as he's going to follow up on his end to move forward with it. About two weeks later, he buys the custom listing and reaches out to me again saying two of the books did not meet his "standard". I apologized to him that the books didn't meet his expectations and told him to just send it all back to me for a full refund. He wanted to keep the books and asked for a partial refund if I wanted a positive feedback, which he literally wrote word for word in eBay's messaging system. I had the custom lot graded as a VF. He showed me pictures of the two books with just a few spine dings calling them VG+ (). At this point, I already knew he's just fishing for a partial refund and reported & blocked him on eBay. He followed up by leaving me a neutral feedback which was pretty easy to get eBay to removed after they read through our messages. Feel free to block him if you do not want to deal with this headache.
  8. Thank you for confirming this. I also had a buyer that did the same and returned the CGC graded book claiming he just didn't like it. He even had the audacity to ask me to pay him back for the shipping cost after I provided him the refund. Feel free to block the following individual. 818ozzy88
  9. Please let me know what you guys would do in this situation. I recently sold a Thor 225 CGC 9.4 on eBay. Everything was going smoothly with the transaction until I get that dreaded return request out of nowhere. Buyer never contacts me directly about it but just opens up the request. His reasoning was that he didn’t like it. Fine, whatever, as annoyed as I am by the reasoning, I accepted the return and refunded him the original cost minus the shipping since I don’t believe I am at fault. So I thought that was the end of it. Today, I get another message from this buyer asking me to refund the shipping cost. His reasoning was that I didn’t disclose a small bit of red ink overspray on the top edge of the book that doesn’t show up in the scan. What would you guys do in this situation? Do you guys think this is a valid argument given that ink overspray are very common with Marvel books printed during this era? The overspray is only visible if you look at the top edge and does not affect the cover.
  10. Enric is one of the better classic Vampirella artist next to Jose Gonzalez. I definitely recommend picking up the Art of Enric book if you want to see more of his work. There are tons of his unpublished Vampirella artwork that you won’t be able to see anywhere else.
  11. Exactly what I was thinking. I would have rather spent that money on a universal 9.4. Guess some folks are all about the number on the top left corner.
  12. Please let me know what you guys find as I will be heading down there with the family again in a few months. Last summer was our first time down at Myrtle Beach. The wife and daughter absolutely loved it. I tried checking out Coastal Comics but for some reason the store wasn't open even though the advertised hours said it should have. What's interesting was when I got back into my car, this lady (pretty attractive) came up and struck up a conversation with me. She saw I tried to go to Coastal and started recommending some other places that I might be interested in. She told me she was a local there but I simply didn't have the time to check other places as I had to get back to my wife and kid. Maybe you guys can check out Player's Choice and Step Back Into Time and let me know how they are.
  13. Thank you for getting back to me on this. I have recently acquired a large collection of books of this nature. I have never sold adult or underground comics before so I wanted to double check what’s allowed before I started listing them here. I will make sure all controversial details are covered before posting.
  14. Looking over the guidelines, I don’t see anything mentioned regarding listing underground or adult / mature books unless I missed it. If these are allowed, do the pictures / scans need to be censored?
