I wanted to go to see it in true imax but none were near me and then i was going to go with my brothers but they ended up going on their own

it did come down to either seeing barbie or oppenheimer (a director who i love) and I went with barbie

i may one day regret as much as never seeing interstellar (top 10 movie for me) in the theater

I haven't been to the theatres in over 20 years.  Interstellar is in my top 5 and I've probably watched it 20 times now. Not seeing it theatres in a huge regret for me. The scene "stay" will always remain one of my favorite . I'm going to watch it again this evening:cheers:

Evidence is the only thing that makes a difference to anyone, and you SHOULD give evidence from a different perspective if you have it.

Why even bring it up if you're not going to share it?

I have a family member who is visiting from India , he's in his early 20's and comes from a city with over 14 million people . We both are huge fans of the superhero genre and I asked him how do you consume the content D+?  theatres? netflix?. He responded with a hard NO and said "we just download everything now for free and share amongst friends".

Is this hard evidence? probably not at the moment . is this hurting the MCU and other movie worldwide box office numbers? probably

If there is evidence, what is it why hasn't it been presented yet?

We've proven that Superhero movies are more attractive to men than to women. You can't argue with nature. It's unequivocal. Even Jaybuck's attempt to overturn the conclusion proves that.

We've proven that the movies are flopping. You can't argue with the math. 8 Billion people know it.

We've proven that outside corporate involvement has forced Marvel to lose it's direction. Disney has even issued a statement saying exactly this. Bosco posted it today, FOR GOODNESS SAKES. lol

So which part of the debate isn't over?

The one where people can't agree with immutable facts and would rather bend reality to make their own beliefs fit?

    Weird.

Either make a point or stop trolling me.

I could give you evidence from a different perspective. But I truly believe it wouldn't make a difference to you.  Some of your points why the movies are failing are 100% true based on fact , others not so much. You do you @VintageComics

Which one of my posts disagree with my statement? lol

Even though a debate is over, it still doesn't stop others from being wrong so I'm here for the rest of you now, not for me.

I don't believe the debate is over because there is still evidence that needs to be presented.  To answer your first question .. you should probably go back and read some of them

I mean, we all know what he is but his kind should never go unchecked.   I stand by what I said about and to him earlier.

The issue with debating the messaging is that some forget that with many of these stories from yesteryear, what is now seen as common sense was taboo at the time that they were first making waves.

I agree with you . It was never my intent to stop anyone from responding to (_____) comments, I just felt that more honest replies to his comments were incoming and that would possibly get people banned (including myself) and the thread shut down.
