Just came across this thread thanks for sharing pics and stories, here are a few i have managed to find over the last several years. The annuals are both about 100 pages and are newpaper strip reprints Buster Braddock has three different one shots, still looking to buy the other two. Hurricane Hawk seems fairly easy to come by (at least if you just want an issue or 4 to check out . Usually $15-$30 on ebay. I have a few more I will try to dig out and post. The book BONZER previously mentioned is really your best source for info that i have found. Nothing like one of the gerbers but has a number of full color illustrations of comics from the golden age through the modern age.

Does anyone know in what issues DC published the table-top dioramas ? So far i found DC Special Series #18, Sgt.Rock's Prize Battle Tales Our Army at War 256, 257, 258,265,275 Blitzkrieg #3 I have heard they did one in a Tarzan Treasury as well.

Hi Gator, I inquired a few years ago about whether Sharp Comics #1 existed and if you had picture of the book. You said it did but did not have a copy to scan. Despite my best efforts I still have not found a picture of the elusive book, would you please ask around to your contacts and see if someone has a scan they would be willing post ? And yep still interested in purchasing a copy if one shows up..

A couple of foreign comics from 1938 and 1939. 12.5"x9" black and white interiors. They may be reprints of other comics as there is an ad on the back talking about L'Agent Secret X-9.

I have yet to add any Timely's to my collection but would like to. What title should I start with,budgeting less than $500 a book. Priority on good stories, then cool covers. Human torch ? All-Select ? Kids Comics ? USA Comics ? Captain America ? Young Allies ? Marvel Mystery ? Sub-mariner ? Others ? Also, what is a PLOD ?

I have 2 of these coming from EBay. Hopefully worth slabbing.

Great Cap cover Congrats on getting that book!

I always wanted nice copies of the Black Orchid covers but they always seem to cut off the circles at the top of the books. I found this on ebay last week and pulled the trigger on the buy it now price.

I think there was 2 issues in the series , have not seen a copy of #2 yet.

It was made in the 70s reprinting some Ghost Rider stories and then adding in some fanzine stuff. It was published by Paragon Press before it became AC and started doing the FemForce stuff. It took me a long time to find a copy or real info on the book, then then next week this one popped up on ebay.

I posted this in new this week in my collection some time back but wanted to share it in magazines.

Just got these from CGC, too bad some of the cases arrived with cracks in them.
