Williamsport. The other copy was 8.5 . Crappy scan though. Sorry 'bout that.

Williamsport. I think this was 8.0 .

I forget the grade on this. I could never find a nice copy before so I'm glad I got this one with the set. My favorites are the Superman World War 2 covers.
The books seem to be well perserved. I usually see the 18 with quite a bit of tanning. What is the grade ?
7.0 I just checked. Off White to white.

I think this was 9.0 or 9.2 .

Another one with an overhang. There was a Young Men 24 and Marvel Mystery 92 if I recall also plus one or two more Sub Mariner Comics. It was Weird how several of the Timely Comics had overhangs.

This one has an overhang. I wonder when a new holder will show up to accomodate books like this?

Another nice one.

When I initially saw them I suspected Superman and Batman from 50 up would grade high. There were lots with overhangs that CGC didn't encapsulate due to overhang.

I have never heard of williamsport either...do tell?
It was an original owner collection of 3,000 Golden age comics from Williamsport, Pennsylvania that I bought a few years ago. 43 or the Superman and Batman were highest grade copies. Mostly from #50-115. Matt Nelson and Steve Ritter have information on Matt's site.

This one is actually for sale in my wife's Ebay store. I would be willing to trade any comics she has listed for High Grade Weird Tales Pulps with Conan stories. I also have a CGC Howdy Doody #8 in 9.4 and a 9.6 of the same issue.
