  1. What potential grade would you give to this ASM 121? I know it has a lot of issues on the back cover (ink transfer, rusted staples, etc), even though the front cover looks great. I assume it's going to cause it to be lower/mid grade, but not sure. What are your thoughts? Thank you very much.
  2. Hello- I'm curious of peoples thoughts on how much of a grading loss this shipping damage caused to my ASM #4 (First Silk). It was graded originally at a 9.8 and it was damaged during shipping after I bought it from the original owner. As you can see there is now a tear on the back bottom as well as some damage to the corner. The remainder of the book does not look to have any additional damage and still remains in it's 9.8 condition. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you so much.
  3. Thank you both for the responses. It's unfortunate the crease caused so much of a grade drop. Like I said, the book is beautiful otherwise as you can see in the below pic. Wonder if a different grader would have graded it differently.
  4. Hello All- I have an ASM 129 that was graded at a 6.0 due to a 3/4 page color breaking crease on the back cover. The rest of the book is practically flawless. With the naked eye, you can see some of the color breaking, but since the page is white, you can only see some. I was curious if pressing it and getting it regraded would potentially increase the grade? Or since it is obvious the color breaking line goes down a lot of the page, it would get graded similarly. You can see in the picture, the crease toward the middle of the page and the other pictures highlight the color breaking portion I can see. Please let me know your thoughts if you think pressing and regrading will potentially be advantageous or not. Thanks.
  5. I have an Amazing Spider-Man 121 that has some type of ink transfer from some other book on the back and discoloration at the bottom edge. I doubt it will, but any chance "Pressing" can fix those or make an improvement? You can see the issues in the attached pictures and I also took a close-up. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you so much.
