why thank you ... thank you very much (thumbs u
Whenever I use to get the George Suarez for sale list, he would always mention if this issue was available and price accordingly - I was always too late to snag the copy he was selling, but I finally picked up a copy at a show back in the 80s
Classic stuff

I never read #12, but can it possibly be better than "Revenge Can Be Fatal" in Strange Mysteries #10? Synopsis...
Man's wife cheats on man with lover. Lover throws man into vat of acid. Man survives, spends his life tracking down lover, horror ensues along the way. Man finds lover just died before man could get to him, so man brings lover back to life so HE can kill him. Lover is brought back to life and kills the man instead, and laughs triumphantly. Evil wins.
Excellent story -- I have the issue.
It's not worth describing "Evil Intruder" because it won't due justice to the perfect combination of story and art. Get a copy -- you'll love it.
I second this opinion - some WILD dialogue and some crazy art
you just have to read it yourself

I almost forgot this one was coming. A big thanks to our own Buck Biggins for this one.
Superior is my favorite pre code producer because their stories are INSANE and as surreal as you could hope. And almost every issue has someone deciding to commit suicide. Just crazy stuff. This is a SOTI issue, and has the absolute classic"Return of the Ghoul" which is one of my favorite pre-code stories. OH, and the gloss on this book is SICK, I have never seen a PCH like it.
GREAT stuff and like you said - some WILD stories
I've been collecting these for over 25 years after being "turned on" to them by George Suarez in his old horror and SF mini sale catalogs
Another odd thing about Superior was how they would use a splash page for a story as a cover in another title or issue
Great pick up!!!

Thanks Mark

This thread has been of incredible value to the community. I have been contacted by multiple people who have alleged similar experiences to that of Brent. Even today I was contacted by two new collectors/dealers who also knew of at least two other individuals in apparently in the same boat. And these are individuals who rarely, if ever, post on the CGC boards but still found out about the current situation through these boards.
The alleged debts have now, based on what I was told, reached over six figures. Of course, again, this is only what we know about. As the USGOV frequently tells me, we don't know what we don't know.
Congrats Mark
I hope this guy gets what he deserves

Russ Heath + Murphy Anderson. Known and loved by those with an appreciation for SA DC books, but much less known among casual collectors
Those too
Nothing better than the Atomic Knights and the Haunted Tank
Plus Adam Strange by Infantino and Anderson

One of my collecting goals may or may not come true, we will see..I have a meeting with the son of a photographer who took photographs of neigboorhood homes and candy stores from 1921 to 1945[in bensonhurst brooklyn] He says he has photographs of neighborhood newsstands and candystores from the spring and summer of 1938.[dates marked on the back of photos] He says there are many magazines in the photos from that era that he has.He says he would prefer me to come to his home to view them as there are way to many to go over on the phone.I agreed. I will keep you guys posted..Im hoping for the holy grail of photographs on the newsstand.?
I neednt tell you the book right?
good luck - please post the pics ....regardless

Guess they didn't want to break all the war collectors hearts by letting them know how much a G.I. Combat # 87 and OAAW # 83 would put them back.
I'm sure for more than guide

Post the MGA walking snowman cover. Greatest Sci Fi campy cover ever.
It's from Strange Adv which is not a 2nd String DC Sci Fi title
Always found this particular issue # to be hard to find.
Great pictures in this thread

Thanks for the quick shipping and great comics.
Nice doing business with you!

Yes
Very tough DCs to find above FN or so
The first three Suicide Squads (B&B 25, 26 and 27) are also extremely tough with the highest graded being 6.0 and 7.0s and really hard to find issues in any grade
