Here are a few references for their convenience: I wanted to note that this isn't the Rebirth or New 52 version of Parallax, which have different 1st appearances. Hi, I currently possess a copy of Green Lantern (vol. 3) #50, the first appearance of Parallax. The insert to the book doesn't say this, so I asked about having it put into a new holder with a new insert. And guess what? The CGC does not recognize that as his first appearance, and they do not recognize ANY book as his first appearance. I was told that it was the "graders discretion", which I'm honestly tired of hearing. I was told that I could put a note on the submission form and on the comic holder itself requesting this, but again, "grader discretion" Back in 2018, the CGC rep, via email, told me she had spoken with the graders re: the first appearance of Maxi Zeus, which wasn't noted on the comic. She wrote back and said that the graders agreed that it should be there, so I sent it in, it came back, nice new insert noting his first appearance. Why is this apparently no longer an option? Parallax didn't just come from nowhere, he had to have a first appearance. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this resolved before I waste my time and money shipping in my comic and the graders just ignoring my request per their "discretion"?
