I just finished watching all of season 1 of Jessica Jones and have to say...it was fantastic. Overall, I'd give this show a 5/5. ***VAGUE SPOILERS*** Jessica Jones is the new benchmark for comic book based productions. If CW, CBS and FOX weren't inspired or at least made jealous by the extraordinary quality of Daredevil, then Jessica Jones will. Arrow, Flash, Gotham...they don't hold a candle to the quality of these groundbreaking Netflix productions. Unlike the poorly acted and boredom inducing superhero shows on the aforementioned stations, I watch Jessica Jones and Daredevil and am genuinely compelled to keep watching. While I like the character of Daredevil much more than Jessica Jones (I had no connection to the Jessica Jones character prior to this show), I actually enjoyed Jessica Jones series more than Daredevil. Jessica Jones is finally a comic book TV show that genuinely keeps my interest (the only other being DD). There were plenty twists and turns in the story that surprised me throughout the show. It was more a detective show (which I prefer) than a beat em' up show. Yes, there was fighting but there are very long stretches (perhaps over a few episodes at a time) where there was very little or no fighting at all.The fighting wasn't as "high-quality" as Daredevil, which is fine by me as the fighting wasn't the point of the show, nor should be. I love the sort of detective show that reminds me of the old black and white detective TV shows and movies from decades ago. Jessica Jones did that for me, BUT with the higher quality acting and production that the older productions could never touch. The acting was superb. If I'm not convinced by the acting, the show would lose me. I loved the characters. Jessica Jones had a Dirty Harry flavor, in my opinion. The attitude, the detective skills, the renegade; all very appealing concepts for me. I did not know what to expect from David Tennant as Kilgrave, but I think he did great. The portrayal of him being a clever, one-step ahead, love-sick psycho was perfect. I loved Patsy Walker and look forward to seeing her in the future (Rachael Thomas is so lovely); Patsy is actually my favorite character on the show. The dynamic between Patsy and Jessica was great. Even the colorful upstairs neighbors were fine by me to add some bizarre flavor to the mix. Honestly, the entire cast was great in my eyes.

We learned from this experience, and, in preparation for the next one, will be taking greater control over the event logistics and day-of execution so that we can better serve the robust and vibrant pop culture community in China." This is the second quarter in which Wizard World has reported a loss, after its Q1 2015 report noted $980,000, for a total of $2.78m lost in the first half of 2015. That is in stark contrast to its profits in the same period of 2014, whichi saw it earn $1.45m in profit in Q1 & Q2 of 2014. In its quarterly report, Wizard World cited the expansion in shows and the associated expenses such as advertising, marketing and employment that came as part of that. In the second quarter of 2014, each Wizard World show earned an average of $1.8m in revenue, while in 2015 that decreased to a $1.1m average revenue.

Thor #80 has been a difficult issue to find ever since it came out. Such a small print run. I bet those sales figures are skyrocketing on GPA. I'm re-reading the Simonson run now. It's been years since I've read it. It's been my favorite overall storyline from any comic series ever since I first read it. I'm on #340 now and it's just as spectacular to read this time as it was the first time!

The show is excellent so far, in my opinion. Miles better than Arrow. Gordon, Bullock and Selina are cast very well, I think. It's amazing how much Camren Bicondova looks like Michelle Pfiffer. The Penguin is also a good character and casting.

Iceman just looks so cool on the ice slide. I'm glad they finally gave that to us.

Just watched the new trailer and am definitely excited for the movie! Looks like Colossus might get some more screen time which would be nice. I think this is gonna be a good one! The Sentinels look like the weak link to me, but even they don't look horrible. Just kind of average.

Fury was in D.C. not NYC when this happened. P.S. : If I recall, at the end of Iron Man 3, it said "TONY STARK will return in the Avengers", it did not say "IRON MAN will return in the Avengers". I forgot the events that took place at the end of IM 3. I was probably trying to forget the ending to that movie.

I just saw Captain America: Winter Soldier and thought it was FANTASTIC! I thought the first Cap movie was pretty bad, so I wasn't expecting much from this sequel. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised! I still don't see Chris Evans as the right actor for Captain America, but I felt he portrayed the role far better in this sequel than he did in the first Cap film or the Avengers. Everyone else from a casting standpoint was just fine! The fight scenes and car chase sequences were great. The martial arts were superb. In all of the other Marvel movies, the fight scenes were kind of generic in my opinion. As far as fight scenes go, I think this movie displayed them better than any Marvel movie so far. It was exciting to hear Dr. Strange briefly mentioned! An excellent movie overall!

I wanted to make a short story centering around my Dalmatian, Plucky. I don't really have a story direction or solid idea, so right now it's just these drawings.

Tonight's episode was one of the best ones of the entire show in my opinion. They were in deep shiz. Logically speaking, I don't know how Rick and Carl would have made it (Glenn as well). I'd have thought this episode would have been the end of the show, because it looked to be like it would have been a complete overrun. One thing that got my thinking...were the heck was Beth during all of this??? Almost a complete wipe of all survivors and she's laying back in her room with the baby? Great ending too!

I think that the "Days of Future Past" storyline as presented in X-Men #141-142 is a fairly simple one. The storyline was not very long--it was not a massive story arc. There is plenty that can be done to embellish the story. I'd imagine (and hope) that the basic story elements are what they're keeping: time traveling to the past to positively alter the future. Did you guys see the X-Men Animated Series "Days of Future Past" interpretation? That one centered around Bishop as the time traveler. It also added extra storyline elements such as an X-Man being framed as the triggerman in the assassination.

First class was one of the best Superhero movies ever made to this point. If you could get past the fact that X-men (1963) is not going to be the source material, it was almost impossible not to enjoy. Absolutely. The side characters such as Azazel, Angel and Riptide were horrible but if you ignore them and pretend they aren't in the movie, X-Men: First Class was fantastic. The main characters were superb. Fassbender and McAvoy blew me away with their performances.
