that's quite a bump, and with sketches no less (where are they?)
read the label. page 29 where Groo appears.
ahh
I just thought it would be a little odd to have an artist do a sketch on the interior of the book
From what Priate has told me, Sergio did not want to sign the cover because he did not do the art for it. So, he signed the page that Groo appears on instead, which he did do the art for. Honestly, I was just looking for the sigs on the book, so the sketch was a bonus. Of course, since it is on page 29 and sealed in the slab, I can't see the sketch and have no idea what it looks like.
This is the first time I have ever been 50/50 on cracking a slab. I want to see the sketch, but I also want to maintain the integrity of the signature authentication.

Picked these two up this past week.

You may have heard of the GA bump or even the Nik bump. May I present for your consideration the Pirate bump!

Ouch, that hate list covers just about everyone except bozos, freaks, morally-bankrupt scammers, in-bred basement dwelling sociopaths, low-IQ suckers, simpletons, criminals, ogres, , desperate scam artists, miscreants, suckers, cranially-challenged reprobates, ignoramus's, black-hearted dwarves, and pencil-armed fanboys!
What about gypsies, tramps, and thieves?

...im trying to figure out what the top right one is... government recipient? receptionist? huh?
Government recipient. Think social welfare programs like food stamps, disability pensions, workers compensation, and social security.

Sweet book! Love the Challs. and PCs.

Psychoanalysis #1 from 1955. This book is hilarious! I love it.

EC's new direction books are unfortunately overshadowed by their precode horror, war and crime books, so they never get the love they deserve. I have always liked this era of EC, especially Aces High, Impact and Piracy.

I just got this R. Crumb book today in the mail. It's really tough to find.
Now there is a book you don't see everyday.

Nedors...
This is one of my favorite covers ever. Very sweet book.

I bought 'em off the stands up to #66 too, Methuselah.
Now there is a name that brings back memories of forums past.

It would seem that while Cal is busy looking out for number 1, he is stepping into a huge pile of number 2.

Not to be a , but why has HUSH been removed. Sure, Flaming Telepath and Skypinkblue forgave him for his transgressions on the buying end, and he made a public apology, but I still do not have the OA that I bought and paid for.
-
So here's to you, HUSH...the newest addition to the board's list of welchers!
Interesting. This would make HUSH a welcher in both buying and selling.
On September 9 I purchased a page of GI Joe art from Hush. The transaction can be seen here.
I sent payment to him via Paypal that very same day.
On October 5, having received nothing in the mail, I sent him a PM asking for a status of the deal. The PM was opened but not replied to.
As of this morning, I have received no OA, no PM, no nothing in over 30 days.
He still has the page displayed in his CAF Gallery

Sometimes using credit, time payments, or deferred payments can allow your money to work for you. Its not always a bad thing.

Kudos to FlyingDonut for two recent deals for some hard to find, accurately grade, and quickly shipped UGS.
And, kudos to shrunkenhead for five TPBs. Great price and packed like they were high dollar books.

Overdue Kudos go out to the following...
50 Cent for a two separate deals on some excellent UGS. Solid grading along with fast and secure shipping.
Rob for fast shipping and a great price on some comic related stuff he offered during the recent VCC.
Flamming Carrot for a pile of kick azz TPBs. Love to pick up cheap reads that are shipped fast and tight.
deamentia for a couple sweet HCs offered up during the recent VCC. I am especially happy about the Lost Girls by Moore. These are going to be read by at least four people. Thanks for the great deal!
Jeffro for a great deal on some accurately graded X-Men, Defender, and Subby books I picked up during the VCC.
And last, but not least, two thumbs up to fellow Marylander and hardrocker Mikeyriffhard for six Swamp Thing trades. Great deal and a solid pack and ship job.
-
I have no idea what all of this is about, but I have done two deals in the past month with 50 Cent (IITravel) and both of them came through without any problems at all.
And before anyone jumps to any conclusions, I have not told anyone they should PM a mod for anything.

Two thumbs way up for...
Lighthouse : As always, sweet deals on trades and hardcovers. This time I placed two orders and he delivered on both. I have done countless deals with 'house over the years and all of them have been exceptional. As long as he is selling reading material cheap, I will keep buying it.
drbanner : I have done several deals with Mike over the years and have been more than happy everytime. This time I bought some X-Men, Silver Surfer, and Strange Tales from him and was very pleased with what was delivered. Mike is always easy to deal with and he knows how to grade.
