    We usually don’t cruise (went to Tokyo this past summer for a fun city trip). Decided to do a cruise from Venice through the Adriatic (slovenia, croatia, montenegro, greece). Should be a fun 10 days then will drive up into the mountains north of Trieste where my wife’s family is from.

    For sure….totally memorable trail for me as it was the first hike my two kids (3 and 5 at the time) did pretty much on their own. 22 and 24 now, and hiking, backpacking and canoeing is part of their habits. It was a perfect place for a young family. Thanks for the memory!
