  1. I downloaded those some time ago thanks. If possible, I'd love to get a larger scan of the covers to #8 and 15. 1000 to 1200 pixels wide if possible. Jon PS we're workign on the early Giants now
  2. Thanks Escape. And I've just uploaded #7 to ABPC. That's the last of the Toole-Wiseman consecutive run on the regular series we needed, #1-46. My notes also say there is Wiseman art in #53 and that hasn't been posted yet (though I have it to scan). Does anyone have #8 and #15. I could really use better front cover scans before I burn all of these to a CD. You acn scan a cover without opening the book so you wont' damage it at all ---- please
  3. I'd suggest e-Bay listing it under newspaper strips and explain what it is.
  4. CBG Thanks for the Sunday Dennis strips. And, evryone, I've posted Dennis the Menace #3 over at ABPC. Just two more issues are needed (#4 and #7) to cover the entire original Wiseman run -- through #46. Note I will be posting #53 later. It along with #68 and 69 also had Wiseman art. Thne of course there are still several Giants to do. Jon
  5. Was this ever produced elsewhere do you know? I've never heard of it. I'm tryign to recall when the movie came out. Was this around then? Could that have been the impetus to produce a Dennis play?
  6. Jeremy, I see you're "new here". I private messaged you about this, but then realized you may not know about private messages. You can contact me at JIngersoll5 (at) comcast (dot) com. Jon
  7. Most Sunday strips I've seen do have dates on them. This one, for example, is clearly marked 5 3 or May 3rd by American standards and May 3, 1981 was a Sunday while the date suggested by the original poster was not a Sunday. The year is often not put into the date, but there usually is a copyright date on the strip. Even when there's not a copyright date, you can generally uses a perpertual calendar to pin the year down to one or two choices since you know the date has to be a Sunday.
  8. I've posted scans of all the Toole Wiseman issues of Dennis the Menace I have. We still need 2 3 4 5 7 to be posted. Does anyone have scanable copies of any of those? Please?? Jon
  9. And "Escape" thanks for posting #17. Do I recall you have #25 as well? Jon
  10. I posted Dennis the Menace #29 on ABPC today. Next up is #13 I'm still looking for scanable copies of #2-7, 17 25 43 Jon
  11. I posted Dennis the Menace #9 on Tuesday morning on ABPC. Next up #13. I'm still looking for scanable copies of #2-7, 17 25 29 43 Jon
  12. I thought those were more printing errors which would vary from issue to issue within a printing.
  13. OK I' velooked at them both and cannot tell any difference between the two covers. Is there one? I'M scanning Dennis #9 (my earliest Dennis right now and hope to post it on ABPC tomorrow (Monday). That will make 11 12 14 18 24 27 31 33 34 36-41 45 46 posted by me in the past few months. Others have posted: 1 8 15 16 19-23 26 28 30 32 35 42 68 69 I still have to scan and post: 9 29 43 44 53 This means we just need 2-7 10 13 17 25 to get all the Wiseman issues (1-43 53 68 69)
  14. Glad to see someone else is still reading here. Maybe everyone is on an August vacation. Dennis #18 will be posted on ABPC in an hour or so.
  15. Ahh got it now. They update every post with your total number :-)
  16. OK so how can my previous post and the one preceeding it both say I have 49 posts? Can't these guys count?
  17. I posted 3 replacement pages for Dennis #38 today. The original pages were scribbled or had holes.
  18. I posted Dennis the Menace #44 yesterday on ABPC. Jon
  19. I posted Dennis #36 on Monday and am posting Dennis #65 today. If anyone has that I coudl use a scan of the first page of "Pitter Patter Painter and the puzzle page on its back. Jon
  20. The Fantagraphics series is sadly just doing the dailies. The "smoke effect" is, I assume, supposed to be dust kicked up by Dennis' running. Dennis #36 should be posted by me on ABPC tomorrow. Sorry for missing a couple of weeks with my Monday Menaces. Jon
  21. I had both a fake-spill ink botle and a snappy gum at one time, though I'm pretty sure I never had the Dennis Mischief Kit. My brother did have one of those Dennis spoons though. I clearly recall that. Jon
