  1. "Oh my God! He killed Robin!" "You person-without-enough-empathy!!"
  2. If I'd picked 26, it would have been a 1 square win.
  3. Iron Fist #13 is NOT an "appearance in single story page without dialogue." He doesn't appear in the story at all. He appears in a promo blurb at the bottom of the page, which is not part of the story.
  4. Yup, that's it. I knew it was 'Tec, and even scrolled through cover browser. D'oh!
  5. Clues to help Senormac (and anyone else): 1. You can generally tell if a book is pre-UPC (1976 and before) and post-UPC (1976 and after) if there's a UPC box "gap" in the boxes you can guess. For example...the book above almost certainly a pre-1976 book, because there's no UPC box gap. Not foolproof, but usually works. 2 The logo/title are blocked out, for obvious reasons. Sometimes, you can sorta kinda imagine the logo. 3. Creator names and cover text are usually blocked out. This is also a subtle hint.
  6. Yes, but I think everyone's used to the odor by now. So make with #74 already!
  7. By the way...the Larsen Venom from ASM #331-333 is far, far better than the slobbering goober of #346 and #347.... Just sayin'...
  8. Hey...what does any of this have to do with the movie...? We're not allowed to go off-topic, people! At least, that's what I got castigated for earlier in this thread, by daring to talk about classic covers and whatnot...
  9. Those skrulls look really good. They're not as green as they should be, but otherwise...they look really good. Yay.
  10. Not generally accepted in this community, if the results of this poll are any indication. We must be looking at different polls. The poll I see only has 8 votes so far, and they're all for "story context" type appearances.
  11. Even books composed solely of single panel pages...like Superman #75...qualify, since the book isn't a mere collection of pinups, a la Wildstorm Swimsuit Special, but each page is part of the whole narrative of the book.
  12. Jimmy Olsen #134 JO #134 is a great example. That single view of Darkseid is within the context of the story.
  13. You're quite welcome. Unfortunately, since all the choices are valid (or a case can be made for them) except the last two, there's really no way for me to vote.
